@Janefx40 that's good about your lining, I hope you haven't contracted Covid, lots of people have it at the moment, can you do a lateral flow to see?

Welcome @Endure100 you will need a cycle off while you await the results and as others have said it depends on the results, it you need antibiotics and probiotics then that would be a cycle off ideally and then you may want to repeat. I had 2 x 0% lactobacillus (good bacteria).

I'm sorry @VenusStarr that sounds rough, completely understandable but awful to be experiencing. It's just shit that the majority of people going through IVF get success fairly quickly and then there's this minority group (us included) that just face constant obstacles and heartache.

@VenusStarr sorry you're having such a shitty time.

Mixed news from me. I should be measuring at 7weeks plus 2 but measuring at 6+2 but there is a heartbeat. Nurse when pushed said she thought we have a 50/50 chance. Going back next week. So still in limbo but feeling a bit hopeful.

@seven201 sorry you are still stuck in limbo. How are you feeling?

@Janefx40 were still feeling a bit giddy from there being a heartbeat. I think my emotions will be up and down again this week. Hopefully next week will give a more definitive answer.

@seven201 it's always special hearing a heartbeat whatever the situation but I wish it could have give you more answers. Are you still having a scan tomorrow too ?

I've emailed CRP to ask if they still want me to come or not. I have to go next week anyway for a scan (and intralipids if fetus is ok). Part of me wants to go to see if they get a better measurement, as I think their equipment is better, but it's a lot of money and more time off work.

@seven201 a heart beat definitely sounds like a better result than last week but it's not nice to hear it's 50/50, fingers crossed for a good result next week. This is like the situation cream went through all over again! So much worry and uncertainty :(

Could you find somewhere that does transvaginal scans with a 3D probe, I was able to find a ultrasound direct that did this (only one scanner that worked one day at one particular clinic), but it gave a really clear view of the fibroids and information that the 2D scan couldn't provide.

hope you all are doing well. I’ve just had a difficult few weeks and was trying not to check the internet but finally had the transfer and just though would check in on all you xx

@Janefx40 great to see you’re moving ahead. When are they estimating transfer will be? I think I’m looking at September now as we’re moving home in August and I don’t want to add to much to my plate. Gives me time to wrap my head around results too, which I should get this week. And I suppose there’s a chance I’ll need treatment.

And yeah…the reflexology session was ridiculous. Funny but awful. Definitely going back to old reflexologist. I was a bit impatient booking someone else so soon and the fact she had so much availability was probably a bad sign 🤔

@VenusStarr sorry things have been difficult for you. I struggle with all the ups and downs and wish it was a linear process.

It’s been a while since I’ve tried acupuncture. I think I’ve developed some kind of weird resistance to needles. Not a fear as such, just the fewer I’m prodded with the better!

@Gardenlady543 thank you. I'm booked in to go next Monday to the CRP clinic and I think their equipment is better. I've cancelled my appt there tomorrow. The 3D scan does sound tempting! It is similar to what cream went through!

@VenusStarr I am really sorry you are going through this. I can relate since my days are full and ups and downs (mainly downs) and a lot of thinking in between.

Nothing much happening here. Af came, light as always which makes me freak out and obsess about everything. I am pretty sure I will change the consultant and the clinic if I should try another round. In hindsight, her behaviour was quite inappropriate last time I saw her.

@seven201 that sounds like a good idea to cancel a scan tomorrow, I think 1 day apart won't tell you much no matter how much better the equipment is.

I have the surgeon consultation a week on Wednesday and then the biopsy and first LIT on the following Thursday. I'm monitoring for ovulation as the biopsy needs to be 7 days after ovulation or more. Which gives me 10 days to ovulate and I haven't even had the oestrogen rise yet which I really need to kick in soon!

@Gardenlady543 hope you ovulate on time. The oestrogen rise is odd as I can get 2 days before LH surge or 4. It sounds like things are starting to move for you x

Fingers crossed you ovulate soon 🤞🤞

Just had my scan to confirm ovulation and lining is now 0.5mm less than at trigger! I'm avoiding saying exact numbers at this point as it's all so personal to each person. I don't know if this matters as it is the lining thickness at trigger that has been measured in studies. But usually my lining thickens slightly post ovulation. This means it is now less than the minimum threshold we set.
