@seven201 oh wow! What a smart and sweet little girl! They really can put two an two together!
Did they check your hcg? I am only asking because when I lost that pregnancy in 2015 I was almost 7 weeks or so and the beta was low, but it was also the baby's heartbeat that was dropping. Also my symptoms started fading once he stopped growing.
Let's just be cautiously positive and hope Monday will bring good news! ❤️

Thank you. No they didn't do a blood test at all. Wish I asked them to.

Yeah, she's a smart and kind little cookie. We're very lucky to have her.

Yuliaaa · 29/06/2022 20:22

@Gardenlady543 I am sorry you have so many things going on. Everything seems so complicated and yet you manage to plan everything which is such a great thing to do! I admire your determination. 💜

Janefx40 · 29/06/2022 20:36

Sorry - I started writing my last post and then by the time I sent it had missed loads

@seven201 your DD sounds amazing. Glad the friend already knew though. I'm afraid I don't know anything about resting heart rates either. But I don't think symptoms coming and going means much because they do come and go anyway. Weirdly before I got pregnant with my miscarriage I had these strange aches in my legs. They went away when I was pregnant and the day the heart stopped my legs suddenly started aching again! But that wasn't actually a pregnancy symptom just a random other thing. I've no explanation for it.

@Gardenlady543 yes LIT does sound odd but loads of women do it so it must be fine. Glad that you don't have insulin resistance. One thing to tick off the list

Xxx

Does CRP do intralipids on Saturdays?

OP posts:
seven201 · 30/06/2022 06:46

@Janefx40 I'm afraid I don't know about Saturday intralipids. Oh that is weird about your legs!

VenusStarr · 30/06/2022 08:26

@Yuliaaa ❤️ when is af due?

@Janefx40 I don't think they do intralipids on the weekend. I think they do ivf stuff on Saturdays but don't think the clinic is officially open.
Sorry you're in limbo after your scan. When's your next one?

Strange you said about leg pains, in my last pregnancy I had them, started around 7dp5dt. But each pregnancy has been different in terms of symptoms.

How are you @seven201 ?

Good news avoid your recent test results @Gardenlady543 glad things are progressing.

Sounds silly, but the extra estrogen tablet is making me really tired, got real brain fog at the moment and very emotional. I hope this is a good sign. I really want to get to 8mm and I'm worried if I go tomorrow if uts just at 7mm they'll push for transfer. Not sure what to do. X

Janefx40 · 30/06/2022 09:26

@VenusStarr it's so hard to know what to do. My clinic transfer at 7mm too. I think it's an individual thing. It depends what level of lining you usually get and whether you're happy with where you are relative to that. I cancelled my last cycle because I wasn't happy with my lining compared to other months but I'm aware that the clinic would usually transfer at that thickness.

Just had a really weird scan. The sonographer told me I had a transverse uterus or whatever and she couldn't really see what was going on. I said I've done 8 IVF cycles and no one has ever said that before. She measured the lining but I don't trust her measurement to be honest. I've asked to be re scanned and am now hiding upstairs in case she sees me!

OP posts:
Yuliaaa · 30/06/2022 09:39

@Janefx40 good decision to ask for a rescan because you have to make sure the measurements are correct. I think it can happen. I had that too once, uterus was "hiding" and she struggled to see it. She explained why, but I forgot tbh.
@VenusStarr af due in one or 2 days. I woke up this morning to terrible cramps. I swear ttc makes you do crazy things. Yesterday I checked my cervix 3 times. Not that I knew what I was looking for 😁.
I agree with Jane. It depends on what you normal linining is. But I also think you should follow your instinct. What if you asked them for another scan after you started progesterone? Would they agree?

Janefx40 · 30/06/2022 09:50

@Yuliaaa oh so hard to tell. What do those cramps mean??? This stuff drives us mad. I have a theory that it's especially tough these days because we are used to having information at our finger tips. But this is one thing that we can't find out by googling! And we can't find out early. It's agonising.

Glad I rescanned. The first sonographer said my lining was 8.3mm and I just didn't believe her. She went on about how hard it was to read etc etc. the second one read it at 6.5mm!! She then did a detailed 3D because of the difference and raised to maybe 7 (varied measurements). Big difference especially as they could call and ask me to trigger. So tired though of having to constantly fight

OP posts:
Yuliaaa · 30/06/2022 09:58

@Janefx40 wow! Such a big difference! So what happens next? Glad you asked for a second one and you trust your instincts.
I usually get these cramps before AF. We have become so aware of our bodies, like we can literally feel every little change others might not be able to sense. Crazy!

VenusStarr · 30/06/2022 10:03

Oh god @Janefx40 that sounds weird and confusing. I've not heard of transverse uterus but I have retroverted. In my first scan I had someone new and she couldn't find my ovaries at all, swapped with the supervisor and she essentially had the probe down and found them straight away.
It shouldn't be a fight all the time. Glad you got rescanned though. Your lining has grown. How big is your follicle?

@Yuliaaa I've never checked my cervix, wouldn't know what to look for to be honest! I'm sorry you're cramping, I find the wait for af is the worst but, those last few days.

Pre any treatment my lining was good and had no issues. But with letrozole it was crap and needed estrogen to get it to 7mm. In my last FET I got to 8mm easily on 6mg a day, but struggling this time. The only difference is I had the d&c last year 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'll have to see what tomorrow brings and see what they advise. I don't want to use my last embryo on a sub-optimal lining. She did say my first scan was triple layer even though it was only 5.7mm and was more positive than my first scan. But that might be because I was crying and she was trying to be nice.

seven201 · 30/06/2022 13:09

@VenusStarr sorry the extra estrogen is taking its toll. Hopefully that's a good sign for your lining. When is your next scan?

@Janefx40 well done for asking for a re-scan. Those measurements are so different! When are you going back again?

@Yuliaaa ha at checking your cervix and not knowing what you're doing - I've done that before!

No news from me.

Janefx40 · 30/06/2022 13:16

@seven201 @Yuliaaa yup I've also prodded about up there a few times trying to work out what's going on. Poo No idea what it's meant to feel like.

Currently at CRP having intralipids with 3 other women. Wish it was you guys (or maybe it is some of you...?!)

Ah. Sadly I'm not there. That would be so fun to be there together one day!

Violette22 · 30/06/2022 13:33

@seven201 I am so sorry you didn’t get the news you were hoping for from the scan and now have to be in limbo land :( It is so unfair. Sending you a big hug <3 I hope the times passes as quick as possible as you wait for your next scan. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news still. Your little 6 year old girl sounds like a really clever one <3 :)

@Yuliaaa the TWW is so nerve-cracking time, when do you plan to test? <3

@Gardenlady543 So glad to hear you don’t have insurance resistance. Sounds like you have a lot of things going on and moving in the right direction :)) The LIT thing sounds really interesting, I agree with seven201 on that they wouldn’t offer anything that isn’t safe, keep us updated on how that goes!

@VenusStarr good luck with your scan tomorrow <3
I’m not an expert on the lining things so can’t really help/give advice on that :(

@Janefx40 Proud of you for asking for a rescan, good job! And sounds like it was worth it. It sounds weird that the measurements differed that much depending on the doctor.

We had our first public scan yesterday at 12+3 weeks (12+2 according to the scale they used yesterday). I cant believe we are this far along! Out from the 6 losses Ive had the furthest we got was development stopped at 7 weeks so this is big for us ❤The mid-wife who did the scan yesterday treated us so poorly that I actually had to file a complaint but that is a long story, most importantly the baby was fine ❤

We also took the NIPT test privately ( I hope it is called this also in the UK?) that checks for different trisomies and other problems. It came back clear which was really relieving 💙

I had my last round of intralipids on Tuesday. Doctor originally was planning for the one at 9 weeks to be my last dose but I asked if I could still get one and he said it is OK but this will now be the last one. I am still on daily blood thinning injections, progesterone injections and oral progesterone. I stopped vaginal progesterone around 10 weeks and after that (knocking on wood) I haven't had any more bleeds. So it could be that the progesterone pessaries were irritating places and causing the bleeds between 4-10 weeks. I really hope they wont return!

I am really grateful but after all the losses I am still naturally worried of what will be the final outcome, as the pregnancy proceeds also the stakes get higher if you understand what I mean😦💙It is really hard to trust that things would go well for me but I try to stay as positive as I possibly can.

I am sending everyone a big hug 💚

Yuliaaa · 30/06/2022 15:22

@Violette22 I am so happy to hear that everything progresses nicely and that the test results are ok. 💜 I was just thinking about you the other day!
Unfortunately I caved in and tested today ( aproximately 10 or 11 DPO) and it was negative. I am not surprised, but not too happy either.

Can I join your Intralipid Party @Janefx40 ? I could do with a laugh and I don't really mind needles anymore! 😏
@VenusStarr Is there any way you could cancel if you are not feeling comfortable? I am sorry you are having such a hassle!
@seven201 hugs!

Hugs and love everyone else!

seven201 · 30/06/2022 19:43

@Yuliaaa sorry about the BFN. That truly sucks. Be kind to yourself tonight. Last night I was feeling all sorry for myself so stayed up til midnight watching White House down, on a work night! I even accidentally woke up dh by talking to the tv.

@Violette22 woweee, the 12 week scan is a big milestone!!! Congratulations.

seven201 · 30/06/2022 21:06

I did a clearblue weeks test on Tuesday/day of measuring behind scan (6+3 showing as 6+0 and no heartbeat) and it showed 2-3 still, but tonight it came up as a 3+. I know your body can be tricked into believing it's still pregnant though.

Janefx40 · 30/06/2022 22:32

@seven201 that's great about the test. Hopefully that means something good is going on in there. If your Hcg is rising then the pregnancy is still progressing. We can't tell if it's all going to work out in the end - we can just hope. But it does mean things are still happening.🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Yuliaaa I'm sorry about the test. Ugh. Sending you love

@Violette22 this is great news about the scan. I know it's impossible to relax but it's great that you have got further than before x

Janefx40 · 30/06/2022 22:32

@VenusStarr do you have a scan tomorrow? Will be thinking of you xxx

OP posts:
MyEasterEggs · 01/07/2022 00:44

@seven201 sorry the scan wasn’t more reassuring. It’s such a hard road. I’m having a bit of quiet time after my wobbly weekend but wanted to check in and send you love and strength for the next steps 💛

seven201 · 01/07/2022 06:46

@Janefx40 thank you 🤞.
@MyEasterEggs thank you. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. Did you manage to get a reflexology appt in? Is it today you're off on hols? I hope the break proves a good relaxing distraction.

Yuliaaa · 01/07/2022 07:16

@seven201 and @Janefx40 thank you, ladies! ❤️
@VenusStarr good luck today!
@MyEasterEggs I am sorry you are feeling so down! The whole process is so overwhelming and scary! Hugs! 🧡

VenusStarr · 01/07/2022 10:14

Hey, this cycle has been cancelled. My lining has gone down to 6.2mm and is 'cloudy'. I've had a bad feeling from start to finish, although no idea when this will end. She just said stop meds and she'll call me later after she's spoken to my ivf doctor.

Part of me is thinking I need a break. I've no idea what they'll suggest later. But I wonder if the crappy letrozole cycle where I was on estrogen for ages has affected this cycle? I only really had a few days off it before restarting on cd2 this time. My heart us saying have some time off.

Yuliaaa · 01/07/2022 11:04

@VenusStarr Oh no, I am so sorry. I don't know what to say, but I hope the doctor will be able to give you some answers. How do you feel? If you need to take a break, perhaps you could, just to catch your breath. Sending lots of hugs and love!💜
