No good news here. I saw my consultant today. Lining is thin, around 5.5 on day 11 and a follicle at 15. It's just another wasted month. I can't be put on estrogen to thicken it because of the below.
I need to decide whether to remove a fibroid that's not in the cavity yet. If I wait, there is a risk it will reach the cavity and leave scars after surgery. Removing now means less scaring. I won't be able to TTC for 6 months post removal and it will delay everything else. Basically, I won't be able to try again until next spring.
She also recommended me another consultant for a second opinion and also for the surgery.
All in all, I am completely fed up.

@seven201 💗 I am happy to hear about your lines and I hope your results will be ok on Thursday.
@VenusStarr sorry this round didn't work out well. I do know the pressure of transferring the last embryo and I really hope you will be successful. 💜
@Gardenlady543 You are very brave!

Love all!

seven201 · 14/06/2022 20:50

Oh @Yuliaaa what shitty news that is. 6 months! Will the second opinion take long to get organised? Could you do some egg collection for batch freezing whilst you're waiting at least? Sorry, I can't remember how many embryos you have stored away. I really had no idea it would take that long to heal after fibroid removal. I'm so sorry.

VenusStarr · 14/06/2022 20:52

Oh @Yuliaaa I'm so sorry 😞 what's with a lot of us now having lining issues?! I'm sorry you've got more hurdles. Have you always had this fibroid or has it come suddenly? I've got quite a few but they're all intramural so they don't want to touch them. I'm not surprised you're fed up. It's really shit ❤️

Don't feel pressured to share @seven201 but you are giving me a glimmer of hope at the moment. But I do understand the need to protect your heart with all of this. We're here with you either way xx

Yuliaaa · 14/06/2022 21:28

@VenusStarr I honestly don't know what the issue with the lining is. It's so common! She says is basically related to estrogen and low quality eggs in my case which perhaps may be the case since I am 39, but the light periods started when I was 35 or perhaps 34. I wasn't aware of the issue before ttcing and I didn't think much of it at that time. She says I am not in perimonopause. My AFC varies form 10 to 15 and my fsh was 5.5 last month. I haven't tested the AMH and I don't care about it at all as I know my first round the level was very good and still got only 1 embryo. The fibroid has been there for a couple of years, but it became more visible last autumn. The surgery is not mandatory yet, but to be considered as it may enter the cavity later. 😵‍💫

@seven201 I had no idea either. I managed to make an appointment for October. No embryos left, no chances of another round till perhaps late autumn and low chances of naturally conceiving.
I thought that maybe I needed a break after all so I might as well do the surgery, recover mentally, physically and financially and then do another round. We are still debating. It's just upsetting because it never ends!

Janefx40 · 14/06/2022 23:01

@Yuliaaa oh I'm sorry you've had more shitty news. Will the fibroid definitely make it's way into the cavity at some point? Or is it just a maybe? Such a hard decision. The delays are just so tough to deal with but sometimes it's the only way.

@seven201 I agree with @VenusStarr I like that there is a glimmer of hope. We've supported each other through long journeys and line progression is a big part of it. But yes we are here whether you want to share or not.

I'm fine thanks. Job interview tomorrow morning then I feel like the life stress is nearly over. On noresthisterone so won't get period until 22nd/23rd. Quite nice not to have any surprises for a week or so.

@Violette22 how are you getting on? Is this the week your Dr is away? Hope you're ok

Lots of luck for your interview @Janefx40 🤞

Big hugs @Yuliaaa ❤️

Violette22 · 15/06/2022 08:42

Hi all, have been thinking of you and reading the comments ❤

@Yuliaaa I am so sorry to hear you didnt get good news. 6 months does sound like a very long time, but like you said maybe taking a break physically and financially would do you good 💛Sending you lots of hugs!

@seven201 Congratulations on the positive test! 😍The progression of the lines sounds good to me, I hope the blood test will also bring good news 💪

@VenusStarr I am sorry about the negative test😕. If it stays negative, I hope AF will arrive soon and you get to start planning for the transfer. Will it be in July?

@Janefx40 good luck with your interview and thank you for asking about me 💖I have just been to another scan today and it is good news! We are measuring 10+3/10+4 today so right in time or even a day ahead. This is already way further than we've ever got in the 6 previous pregnancies. It has not been easy though cause I have had bleeds on and off, last time last night I bled some weird looking blood tissue. I couldnt manage the time without a scan when my doctor was on holiday so we actually had a scan on Friday aswell because I bled some blood on the night before and Friday morning. That scan left me worried cause the doctor refused to comment properly on the heartbeat and the measurements were lagging a bit behind. So today's scan with my own doctor was really relieving.

I hope you are ok @Gardenlady543 💚

Janefx40 · 15/06/2022 09:48

@Violette22 I'm so pleased things seem to be going well. It's lovely to have some positive news. I know how anxious a time this must be for you tho with the bleeds especially. If you're 10 weeks then it must be 6 weeks since your pregnancy test - that's a long time to go through constant anxiety so I hope you're being extra nice to yourself xxx

@Janefx40 good luck for the interview today! Hopefully you get the job and it is the start of a run of good news for you

@Violette22 I am so sorry it has been such a stressful start to pregnancy. Great that everything is measuring on track though and fingers crossed it settles soon and you are able to enjoy the experience a little more.

@seven201 Fab news about line progression - all sounds really promising everything is crossed for you

I feel a bit in limbo this week! AF due next weekend so currently in a natural TWW preying for a miraculous mid-IVF cycle conception!! If that does not work out then start the drugs for the ERA when she arrives. Would be so nice to have the miracle though...........

Janefx40 · 15/06/2022 17:06

Thanks @Hopeful199 nice to hear from you. Hope you're surviving the 2WW and fingers crossed for your miracle.

I feel like I'm about to come on. I am due but the noresthisterone is meant to delay it. Hope it works as we're going away this weekend.

Interview was ok but I already know I can't do the job as I'm part-time and it's a full time role. I thought that would only come up if I was offered the job but they asked me in the interview. Boo!

@VenusStarr and @Janefx40 that's so nice to hear I'm somehow giving a glimmer of hope at the moment.

@Violette22 wow, 10 weeks already (I'm
Sure it doesn't feel quick to you!). I'm so glad it's going well, although the bleeds must be very stressful!

@Hopeful199 I hope you have your pre-ivf miracle. They do happen!

@Janefx40 I did one norethisterone cycle where I was convinced I'd come on early, but I didn't. I might have had a bit of spotting for a few days though. Sorry about the interview and it not being the part time you need. Still good experience and you never know, maybe someone else was there wanting a job share.

Janefx40 · 15/06/2022 21:00

Thanks @seven201 that's what I'm hoping - that their preferred candidate surprises them by asking for part-time. However they didn't call me so not good news. They said they would let us know Monday but we all know that actually they will contact the preferred candidate tonight! Never mind x

Hi everyone, how are you all?

It’s been a while…I have this terrible habit of going into hiding in the weeks before treatment. A self preservation thing I guess.

Had a catch up tonight and I’m sending lots of love and strength to those of you who are experiencing hurdles or processing difficult news. I struggle with the highs and lows of it all.

I had my scan today and the hysteroscopy and EndomeTrio have been scheduled for next Wednesday so fingers crossed for some positive news. Doing my immune bloods on Monday and have decided to stick with my clinic rather than go to Dr S as they no longer do Chicago. Everything is processed in the UK. The only thing they don’t do as standard is check CD 16/56, only CD 69, so I’ve queried that. Otherwise it’s all looking good.

@seven201 congratulations on the positive test and @Violette22 glad things are progressing well. Some hope for us all!

VenusStarr · 16/06/2022 06:13

Cd1 is here 🥳 woke me up at 4.30 and I've not been able to sleep since. Been trying to work out when I'll need to go down for intralipids and managing work. Obviously all dependent on my lining playing ball. But do feel happy now that I'm finally in my FET cycle. I drew out a medication chart last time and i think I'll do the same again. Back on estrogen tomorrow 🙂 if all goes to plan, transfer will be early July.

I'm sorry you didn't hear from the interview @Janefx40 and rubbish that they wouldn't consider part time. Hope you're OK. Hopefully your period will hold off. When do you need it to start?

@MyEasterEggs good to hear from you. I'm pleased you've got a plan with your immunes. 🤞 for next week. My results came back really quickly, so hopefully you know where you stand soon.

@Hopeful199 🙏 for a miracle

Lovely news @Violette22 💕

Xx

Janefx40 · 16/06/2022 16:02

@VenusStarr wrote a message to you earlier but seem to not have posted!! Good to get started??? If all goes ahead, we will transfer within a week of each other - so that would be nice!

@seven201 any news from Medichecks?

OP posts:
seven201 · 16/06/2022 16:04

I just got my result. It's 72.2 at 4 weeks 3 days I think. Bit worried now. Not sure if I should rush home to see if I can send my other off in tonight's post, but I think they advise arriving for a Monday, not later in the week. Gah, overthinking it. I should focus on it being in the range!!

This is the chart they gave.
3697

Janefx40 · 16/06/2022 16:25

Was that Tuesday? It's a definite positive. It's not very low is it?

ARGC test every day or 2 for Hcg and I'm still on the FB page so I see quite a lot of Hcg levels. There are definitely a lot of women with lower levels than this who have successful pregnancies.

I hesitate to suggest it as that way lies madness....but you could do a CB weeks indicator? The 2-3 weeks has a lower cut off of 153 so you'd know if it doubled tho not much more.

Otherwise I guess it's wait for Medichecks until Monday (or go into TDL in London directly tomorrow?)

OP posts:
seven201 · 16/06/2022 16:50

@Janefx40 thank you for indulging my moment of madness! Yes it was Tuesday and I think I was 4+3 then.

The chart didn't paste in correctly so I've put a photo in. Basically, I think I probably need to stop panicking as I am in range. Although I did rush home and have posted off my medichecks sample 2, so that should arrive tomorrow. I reckon it will be alright waiting round until Monday if it has to!

The weeks indicator isn't a bad idea. Don't want to drive myself mad. I have one here. Maybe I'll do it in the morning so there's been a little extra time.

Thank you! X

@VenusStarr amazing!! It's great you can get started. Always feels like a step in the right direction. I love an excel chart for meds - feels like you're doing something helpful!

Well done on getting going with your edimitrio (I've spelt that wrong) cycle. Good idea to do the immune stuff at the same time. Hope your body reacts well to the meds.

Janefx40 · 16/06/2022 17:02

@seven201 good luck. I hesitate to suggest things like that because I know it can cause more stress. But I probably would and then be just as stressed and miserable whatever the result!!!

@MyEasterEggs welcome back and good luck with the tests xx

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 16/06/2022 17:23

@seven201 that's good! You were 10dpt then weren't you? Try not to get too bogged down in it, it sounds like you're right on track 🥰

I'm just in the garden drawing out my meds chart. Got a question - last time I had a scan on cd8 and started clexane that night. My lining was still under at that point. But my scan is cd9 next week, so should I start fragmin on Thursday? I know it's only one day but I've got in my head everything needs to be perfect.

I think the clinic forget that I'm not local, I emailed crp to let them know and ask about intralipids and got a reply to say I could go down on Friday depending how the scan goes, but its not till 10.30 and it takes me 3 hours to get there! 😅 more than likely it'll be the Monday, I hope.

@Janefx40 eek, we could be transfer buddies😍

It's our little girl's due date on 6th July and I think I'll be pupo then (all being well). Its also dh's late dad's birthday today. Always looking for signs 🙏
Also, tmi but I'm pleased that even though my lining looked rubbish on the scans, my flow is good and it's not really painful.

Have worked in the garden this afternoon, getting all the vitamin D xx

seven201 · 16/06/2022 17:52

@VenusStarr I was 12 days post 5 day embryo transfer, but still alright hopefully. I think my adjust LMP works out as 14th may.

I wouldn't start your fragmin until you're officially told personally. Ha, imagine popping for intralipids from 3 hours away! When I was there on Monday there was a lady who I think commuted from Ireland for her appointments. Dedication! Working in the garden sounds lush! I like the sound of those date coincidences. I've realised I'm going for my ivf viability scan (if I get that far) on the anniversary of my mums death, I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. Good flow is reassuring.

Janefx40 · 17/06/2022 13:51

@VenusStarr I'm pretty sure that I started Fragmin/Clexane on CD9. I think they said 7-10 days before transfer so I started alongside intralipids which was then x
