Embryo quality

Hello, just wondering if anyone had any success stories they wanted to share with 'poorer' quality embryos? We're doing FET at the moment with our one & only Frostie - think it's a 4cb.

@Happycrocodile A 3bc is still a very good embryo from what I've read. I follow 'embryologist_paige' on instagram and she's so good at explaining everything to do with embryos. I've got my next scan on 25th to see if lining is thick enough (at least 7mm) and if it is then transfer will be 3rd or 4th Feb 🤞

@Happycrocodile thanks for asking - it was 8.7mm so transfer next Friday. How are you doing? Still waiting?

I’m waiting! Not expecting AF for about another 10 days I think but I’ve only had 3 cycles since I stopped BFing so I don’t know if it will be maybe a couple of days earlier… hope so!

Not long till my transfer - Embryologist is going to phone on Thursday to discuss time for coming in on Friday. Can't believe it's nearly transfer day!

That’s exciting @ivfmumto1 how are you feeling? Going ok, AF is due to arrive this weekend, I’ve had some serious pmt rage the last day or so and I feel she might appear sooner!

@Happycrocodile lol hopefully it'll be sooner then and you can get started! I'm excited but anxious about the thaw. My clinic's literature said that 2/3rds of their embryos thaw ok but when I asked the nurse she said it was almost all of them 🤷‍♀️🤞

Just another thing to worry about, I’ve got everything crossed for you x

Tomorrow morning! Do you have to wait until you’re there to find out how they’ve done in the defrost?

Think embryologist guy today said they phone to let me know how it's going..not sure now lol - was quite a quick chat - he just told me to take my meds as usual, have full bladder and not to wear perfume, deodorant etc. Hopefully Frostie survives thaw ok & keeps same grade or better..🤞

@Happycrocodile all done - embryologist called about an hour before to say embryo had thawed well thank goodness - same grade as it had been frozen at. Just need to wait the 2 really long weeks now!

I had my lining scan today and it was “beautiful” 🤣 their words not mine, so transfer next Thurs 😬

@Happycrocodile that sounds great! Lol at the 'beautiful' lining but they must see so many that they know when they see a good one lol 😂 It'll be Thurs before you know it!
I was less worried last time when it was fresh transfer for some reason..think it's maybe a mixture of wanting DD to have a sibling & that we only had the 1 embryo..I don't know - just want it to be next Friday now & know one way or another..

I’m excited, I had acupuncture today, basically trying to emulate everything I did last time! My appointment isn’t until very late afternoon though so I’ve had to slightly change my plan for tomorrow and I’m sure the morning will drag!
