I can't see that anyone else has started one yet, so I thought I may as well!

Just got my calendar through today and will be downregging in three weeks time, starting stims in late October, with EC provisionally in early November. This is my second round, which will now be ICSI-only after my last one ended up with a total fertilisation failure

Anyone else on the same sort of timeframe?

Just one little question.

What tablets does everyone take (folic acid etc)

I have folic acid but just seen about vitamin D can anyone tell me which is the best ones to take? Or is this only if ur pregnant you need these xx

@Ivf1sttime I take pregnacare preconception right now. You absolutely need folic acid prior to pregnancy. It’s advised to take folic acid for 2-3 months preconception and then until 12 weeks. For vit d think the upper limit is about 4000iu but most people only need a smaller dose than this.

@ivf1sttime also took pregncare preconception and just moved on to the pregnancy ones today. Also take a vitamin D supplement as well and have been for a while.

I'm going to finally stop testing now as took a clearblue weeks indicator and it came up 2-3 weeks so thinking my hcg must be at a ok level and truly be a positive. Will obviously test on Tuesday with the clinics test and let them know it is positive but time to relax over the weekend and now the countdown begins to the 7 week scan x

@BlueSilver23 yeah I've been taking folic acid but not the vit D one I'll need to get this xx

@Tiger86 aww that's fab yeah I wish I could stop testing but don't think I'll be able to 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm gonna need to get the vitamin D one I just take folic acid now xx

@Ivf1sttime I take procieve, it's expensive but has amazing reviews. I was using the max conception sachets, and today have changed to 1st trimester tablets, they have different tablets for each stage, tailored to what your body and baby needs :)

So today I'm 11dp5dt and this is gonna be my last test till my otd 🤦🏻‍♀️ starting to believe it a little more but still have that scary feeling in back of my head too.

Congrats @ivf1sttime it is so hard to believe is it. Can't believe my otd is still 2 days away they really do leave it very late. I just want to get there so I know when my scan will be booked in as it won't be until then that I might be able to believe slightly x

@Tiger86 I'm feeling the exact same about the scan I just want to know what's happening now haha I'm honestly so impatient yeah I've got till Wednesday feels like ages away haha xx

@Tiger86 hey, my OTD is Thursday, clinic have told me my scan with them will be week commencing 3rd Jan, so I have a private scan booked 22nd December lol. Everything seems so far away doesn't it lol x

Well otd day has arrived and took my test with a positive so I can now officially say I'm pregnant! Really hope everything progresses well I'm already on tender hooks x

@ivf1sttime I have just emailed the clinic as I hate waiting in their phone queue. Will hopefully hear back with a scan date soon and let you know x

@ivf1sttime I know I feel like I have known for nearly a week but can finally officially feel it and say it out loud! Just had a phone call from the clinic and scan booked in for 22nd December so happy I don't have to wait until after Christmas as I'm really hoping it will put my mind at rest for a bit over the holidays x

@Tiger86 yeh I seriously am hoping I'll get in before Xmas too 🤞🏼 yeah I haven't told anyone yet about me testing early so I cant actually wait to tell my parents and then it will finally feel real xx

@Tiger86 how many weeks will you be on your scan on 22nd Dec? The clinic booked me in for mine on the 29th which seems really late. I rang the private scanning place and they said they could book me in on the 15th December as I would be 7 weeks then. I’ve booked in with them as they can also do internal scans if they can’t get anything from the tummy. Wondering if that sounds too soon?

@Reevalyneete I will be exactly 7 weeks they did say it will be an internal scan though. So 7 weeks seems right to me. I guess on the 29th you would be 8 weeks so that would be late x

I done a test last night with my mum dad brother and niece as they have been with me all the way thru but I haven't told them I have been testing and wow I was so emotional I was proper sobbing crying and shaking when it come up pregnant it finally feels real now I'm just away to call the hospital to see what happens now xx

My scan is on Xmas eve 😁 I can't wait I'm exactly 7 weeks on Xmas eve xx

Congratulations to those with their BFPs! Great news and sending love to those who haven’t been so lucky this cycle. It’s such a whirlwind of emotions isn’t it?

Can I ask a quick question for those ladies under Bourn Hall? I’ve finally got my treatment schedule and am only booked in for a scan on day 9 of stims, two days before trigger. I thought there would be more scans than that and I was given the impression in the initial consultation that I’d be scanned more due to my low AMH.
