Hi, I’m in my 4th round of IVF and currently 4DP5DT. My husband and I have been TTC for 10 years now and after 3 failed IVF attempts with my own eggs we opted for donor egg for this round. We had a good quality blast transferred, last 3 attempts have all been day 2 transfers. I should be used to the 2WW by now, but I’m not!! It’s so bloody stressful! I’ve already started testing..I know it’s way to early just can’t help myself. Needless to say it was a BFN 😢. Trying to stay positive.
If there’s anyone out there going through the same?

Thank you - I am keeping everything crossed for all of you and hope next time you get your BFPs too!

@AlisonDanuta we did a multi-cycle package which was I think £7200, which we had to pay up front. We chose this option as it was our first time doing any sort of fertility treatment (we chose to skip IUI) so it was a total unknown and I have a low ovarian reserve so doc advised might need more than one go. But the single cycle is I think around £4-5K and I think there are finance options for that. Extras like ICSI are more on top. And you also need to budget for drugs - it was about £2K just for meds when I was doing the fresh cycle (happily much cheaper for this frozen cycle because I opted out of down regulation so only needed progesterone/oestrogen). So all in all I'd say about £7K all in for a single fresh cycle at CARE. Multi-cycle/refund packages are good though as I think they all include the costs of frozen transfers for any embryos you get.

I agree re. NHS - we could have tried 6 cycles of IUI after which we might have qualified for IVF but for almost the same price we decided to skip straight to the option that had better odds!

Xx
