Thank you everyone ❤️ Yes, it was our first try with IVF. I'm OK, I had a good cry this morning and now I'm going to treat myself to lots of comfort food, starting with ice cream for breakfast and some wine tonight :)

@beachbum85 I like your style! I would be the same as well! A nice relaxing bath as well as I've avoided that in case it's "too hot"!

@Bethpalmer20 yes 9 days testing is early too as my clinic is 13 days past. I'd try and wait as close as you can. I'm so nervous of period starting. I was fine the first week but struggling today!

@6543336787gesgvjhg yes I'm definitely going to try and hold off to OTD. I definitely feel like 9dp5dt is very early in comparison to everyone else. My clinic have said it's the equivalent of 14dpo so should have an accurate result by then but I'm still a bit anxious about it being too early..

@beachbum85 I'm so sorry to hear this, I'm gutted for you but glad you're okay ❤️

How are you ladies keeping sane during the TWW, at some points I'm fine and I manage to keep my mind occupied but then sometimes I just begin obsessing and overthinking everything which is the start of my downward spiral!

@Bethpalmer20 I wish my clinic said 9 days past as I'd of tested yesterday then haha. Strange how all clinics are so different isn't it. I thought that like in a normal cycle my period would of been due Wednesday/Thursday and you can test like 5 days before period due can't you normally do it's strange we have to wait soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long! I was shocked when it said 13 days past!

We had our three day update yesterday. So all four that fertilised are still going strong and all in the right place. three are excellent and one average. Next up date tomorrow before they go for PGS testing.

then we need to make a decision on whether we go for one more round with a fresh transfer or do a FET with what we have (we currently have three frozen PGS normal blasts).

It did hit me last night that this might not work first time...i guess i've been weirdly optimistic that it will. everyone in my family gets pregnant first time (it's a long running joke) and bar a low AMH everything seems good and healthy with me (we have MFI due to cancer). so still always assumed it would be first time and done. Now freaking out a bit

@Narwhal88 I had a very faint positive yesterday at 10dp3dt but we’re not taking it as anything yet as our test day isn’t until Sunday and I had the smallest amount of spotting yesterday so we don’t want to get our hopes up but there’s a chance it will pick it up for you!

@beachbum85 sorry to hear about your result, you were on your first go like myself. Enjoy your wine and ice cream and then take some time for yourself! The journey will continue so stay positive xx

Counting down the hours to Sunday for our official test day and hoping the little bit of spotting (so so light!) was nothing at all

So I tested this morning at half 4!! Couldn't sleep! Did two tests both very clear positive! I am 11dp5dt today. Going to test again tomorrow and Monday. My worry is that it's still the trigger in my system. I worry too much lol xx

We had our pre egg collection appointment yesterday. Blood tests, covid test, scan and how to do injections.
I have one ovary, the dud one, hidden behind my uterus and they couldn’t see it, even with some serious probing and pushing on my stomach (spent the evening with a duvet and paracetamol!) but the visible, good one is “fantastic”. They said it has 15 follicles and has improved since my last scan in 2019! I’ve been taking so many tablets and working on my diet and exercise to try to improve our chances and I feel vindicated.
They’re happy with my progress on provera, despite the nightmares. I’m so ready to start jabbing myself with needles now!
The other big positive thing is that the condition I’m having PGD for is de novo - I spontaneously mutated it myself before I was born, like a real winner - this apparently means the genetic team have been able to do some of their work before egg collection. If it was inherited they would have to do egg collection first and then do all the work. So because of that we’re looking at 56-112 days from collection to transfer rather than about twice that!

@The3rdWatermelon that is great news!! I didn't have provera but on my stims I had awful nightmares and hot sweats. Great that the pgd is less time, we are having PGS due to numerous miscarriages and they have suggested two months before transfer but we will see how my cycles go before we try it. Not looking forward to the first cycle that's for sure.

How is everyone doing today? We are currently waiting the 5 day call and I haven't left my phone lol!

5dp5dt for me today, I had a dream about a positive pregnancy test last night, getting so impatient now!

Oh and I have a face full of spots! I do normally get the odd few but these are so big and so sore! Could just be from all of the hormones I've injected but I've never known anything like it!

Funny you should say about dreams @Bethpalmer20 as I dreamt I was babysitting for someone and I was trying to do everything right and I was freaking out lol!!

We have got our day 5 update and we have 16 babies on ice, I don't know how but I am so happy. We are only testing 8 to begin with and then we will see how we go from there for our results x

@Bethpalmer20 I was covered in spots on my face so sore as well! They have calmed down a bit now though

Thank you @beachbum85 sort of in a pinch myself mood at the moment but until you get a BFP, none of this feels real, I am just hoping for good results l and then two months rest before we start again with the pio injections x
