@Sungirl11 that’s great news - not so much on the morning sickness.
Still lucozade and mini gingerbread men have been my go to!

Crazydoglady123 · 25/05/2021 18:06

So jealous of you girls finishing your pessaries and injections. The pessaries are disgusting 🤢

That's so exciting for your 12 week scan Friday @Lou8319

@6543336787gesgvjhg I had the text too Sunday but going to hold off.

@Sungirl11 congratulations on your scan!

My clinic booked my scan on 8th June which I'll be 7 weeks. They were aiming for the week before but had no slots and the wait is killing me so I've booked a private scan for next Wednesday 🙈 The not know if if everything's okay and is it twins is driving me insane 😬 This has been by far the worst wait!

IVFbabyF · 27/05/2021 10:32

Thought I would jump back on and give a little update. We had our 8 week viability scan yesterday and to our surprise, we are pregnant with twins!

Sungirl11 · 27/05/2021 11:12

@IVFbabyF yay!! Congratulations!!
Did you transfer 2 or your little one divided?? I've been looking but can't find anything from you haha

IVFbabyF · 27/05/2021 11:21

@Sungirl11 we only had one to transfer (unfortunately no Frosties either). So it has divided and they are sharing one sac. It's so exciting and nerve wrecking at the Same time! How are you getting on?

Sungirl11 · 27/05/2021 11:30

@IVFbabyF awww so they are going to be same sex identical twins right?? Cuuuuteeee!!!
I'm feeling well after all I went through! I haven't had any more nausea or vomiting thank god, and my migraine has eased.
Just waiting on NHS midwives to call and let me know what next! And take it from here.
How are you feeling?

IVFbabyF · 27/05/2021 11:33

Yea that's right Smile. Glad your feeling a little better, I've felt dreadful nauseous and tired but at least now I know why! Hoping it will start to ease soon as trying to work is really difficult. I am now waiting on NHS midwives too, I think they are extremely busy.

PurpleUnicorn01 · 27/05/2021 11:36

@IVFbabyF that's so exciting congratulations. Did you have ivf or ICSI? This gives me so much hope. What grade was you're embryo. Sorry for all the questions. Was feeling down as we have borderline low reserves and he has low motility.

IVFbabyF · 27/05/2021 11:38

@PurpleUnicorn01 we were exactly the same! So please don't feel down. I had 11 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilised via ICSI, 6 day 3 and then 1 day 5 grade 2AB which has turned out to be our twins! Hopefully this will give hope to those that only get one embryo too.

PurpleUnicorn01 · 27/05/2021 11:48

@ivfbabyf you literally just made my day. Thank you. Keep smiling Smile

jolly86 · 27/05/2021 13:04

@IVFbabyF @PurpleUnicorn01 Hi there I came across your chat. I was feeling really bad as we had ICSI and 6 out of 7 eggs fertilised. We got a day 5 transfer of a single embryo and nothing to freeze- embryos with c grades in them deemed too poor to freeze. I was quite upset to see before my transfer the grade 4BB despite the embryologist kept saying it was a very good one. I had just assumed it had to be 4AA or 5AA or its not good, as I always read people being transferred these. I have low amh (3) and we have very bad sperm. I was beginning to think something more is wrong with us as so poor embryo quality. Your story gives me hope X

IVFbabyF · 27/05/2021 14:09

@jolly86 I am glad we are spreading joy and hope today. I saw in another thread that someone had a 4CD transferred and this embryo transitioned into a healthy baby! Never lose hope, it only takes one!

Lou8319 · 27/05/2021 15:31

@IVFbabyF congratulations!

Morning all,

Just got back from our 12 week scan and everything is good. They’ve put me at 12+5 which I should be 12+2, but we’ve got a proper wriggler so I’m surprised they measured at all. I had to jump up and down half way through to try and get it to move round so we could see it properly!

Had the nuchal measurement and a blood test, so now another wait for that. It’s all just waiting!

Hey everyone, how are we all doing? I start my frozen transfer cycle 1/2 on Sunday wjth norethisterone and then I should be transferring the first week of July- I am so excited to start but also the amount of meds I have is incredible!!

Lclarke111 · 28/05/2021 17:53

@Lou8319 congratulations, couldn't be more jealous right now but so happy to see a little bubba there xx

Lou8319 · 28/05/2021 18:56

@Lclarke111 thank you!

The meds seem horrendous, but you soon get through them, and it’s not half as bad as your brain thinks it’ll be

Lclarke111 · 29/05/2021 09:56

Thank you @Lou8319 after egg retrieval in April, I thought I was just having the pio bum shots but o have vaginal capsules, oral capsules, a final gel, blood thinning injections and the pio injections haha, I had no idea xx

6543336787gesgvjhg · 29/05/2021 10:34

@Lou8319 congratulations!! I can't wait for our scan a week on Monday. Has any suffered in the toilet department? Only comes on randomly but had to go to Pharmarcy yesterday I was in that much pain!

Lou8319 · 29/05/2021 11:05

@6543336787gesgvjhg trying to go some days has been unbelievably painful.

Crazydoglady123 · 29/05/2021 12:05

@IVFbabyF congratulations! Amazing news! Can I ask, did you have any symptoms before you scan or anything to make you think two? I had two embryos transferred (grade a and high quality grade c) and have a 6 week scan next week but I've had hardly any symptoms (mainly tiredness, peeing for England and veiny sore boobs). I've had really strong lines on my HPT's quite early on.

Good luck with your FET @Lclarke111

@Lou8319 what a gorgeous scan picture! You guys must be so happy

IVFbabyF · 29/05/2021 12:10

Congratulations @Lou8319 what a great scan picture!

@Crazydoglady123 how exciting! I had a very early positive test result, felt unbelievablely tired (sleeping for 2/3 hours in the middle of the day) nauseous since 6 weeks from waking up to going to sleep. I suppose all the signs were there really, and my husband had a dream we had twins (not sure this can be used as evidence though). It did get him used to the idea fairly quickly though.

Lclarke111 · 29/05/2021 13:38

Any tips for the tww? I am thinking is it a good idea to book a break away?
