Hi all, I couldn’t see this thread anywhere!

Anyone due to start IvF end Feb/start of March?

I’m due to start my 2nd round - first was a disaster. Moved to a new clinic and they’re upping my meds and taking my DH sperm out surgically as we’ve male-factor.

Anyone else starting around the same time?

What kind of supplements/diet are you on? I’m taking Zita West IVF pack and ubiquinol. I need to loose weight but am so unmotivated. I’ve put on nearly a stone and half since January 2018. Trying to also eat a high protein diet. Tried a protein shake last night and it nearly killed me. They’re so disgusting!!!

Yes, there is research on CoQ10 regarding "advanced" maternal age. The researchas has used anywhere from 100 to 600 mg CoQ10 per day. In addition, water and fat-soluble forms absorb better.

Also been advised to take the Q10. I'm now on 300mg daily. I was told to double the dose after my last failed cycle, so I've tripled it 🤷‍♀️

I’m on 200 of ubiquinol and 50 of coq10 via a combined supplement I’m taking. I have DH taking it too! No harm to try!

That's me all booked in to start this cycle. Consents appointment on the 30th. Start the down reg on the 8th Feb and baseline scan on the 25th Feb.

Feel much more nervous about this cycle as it's our last go. Also a lot less optimistic about its success if I'm being honest. Last time I did not enjoy the emotional rollercoaster. I could never admit this to my DH but I'm kind of looking forward to this whole thing being over so that we can move on

sounds hard, @confused107
I'm about to start my first ever round of IVF - aged 41, so not huge prospects. I think I was just so convinced "if it's meant to be it will be" that it took me a long time to look reality in the eye and go get fertility treatment.
I have wondered if things might be easier if there wasn't such a thing as IVF - that I'd just have to accept childlessness at this point. But I still want to try IVF.
I also wonder if there was no IVF maybe the gynecologists I had in the past would more thoroughly have investigated and treated my endometriosis. If they couldn't think, oh well she can have IVF if it is effecting her fertility, I mean. But probably not, I don't know what was behind the poor treatment I received, really.
