Did anyone have an embryo transfer today? When are you going to test?

Oh thank you @PSL1990 but I'm not confident tbh – this morning's is so faint DH can't see anything and I'm not sure even I can, so thinking possible a super early CP? Will have another go tonight and see if there's anything to see

@kell2126 how nerve wracking 😟 i desperately hope it picks up again!

I tested today at 6dp5dt. BFN. I know it's still early, but I'm out, I'm sure of it 😢

kell2126 · 07/07/2019 12:19

Thank you, and don't lose hope just yet, @jemimafuddleduck! I have been scouring the internet for IVF success stories and it looks like lots of folk don't test pos till later. Keeping everything crossed for you! x

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 07/07/2019 13:01

I'm sure I read somewhere that there is often a surge of HCG when the embryo first implants and then it settles down which is why you can often get a faint positive on day of implantation and then it's still really faint the next day - that happened with me and in fact my second morning urine has yielded much better lines than FMU

Viletta · 07/07/2019 13:05

Hi ladies, I'm starting my first ever FET protocol hopefully next week. Have you had prednizolone (immune suppressor) and aspirin with yours?

kell2126 · 07/07/2019 13:32

Thanks so much @itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted Flowers that's so reassuring to hear and I really hope that is the case with my tests – did your tests look similar to mine?

@Viletta I haven't been prescribed immune suppressors or aspirin (but mine was a fresh transfer so maybe that's why?). Best of luck for your transfer – do you know how many they'll be putting in?

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 07/07/2019 13:42

@kell2126 yes! I had a faint BFP on FRER in the evening 9dp5dt and then the following morning with FMU it was pretty much negative so I assumed it was a chemical and actually went out and had a glass of champagne to drown my sorrows - took a test when I got home and line was back and darker

Almost every day after that second morning wee had much darker lines than first ones

kell2126 · 07/07/2019 14:42

Hahaaa @itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted I love that you inadvertently squeezed in a cheeky final glass of fizz! Huge congrats on your pregnancy and hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months x

Viletta · 07/07/2019 14:54

@kell2126 everywhere I've been they suggested one at a time, I've only have 2 frosties, so will put one. How are you doing?

jemimafuddleduck · 08/07/2019 07:53

BFN again today for me.

@kell2126 how are you doing?

Bruce2 · 08/07/2019 09:18

Congratulations to those with BFP :) best news ever, hope you have a wonderful healthy 9 months.

Think I'm out though.
Sitting on train to work and feel my period just started :(
Can't even find the toilet to go check but I'm certain. All the usual.
Good luck to everyone on thread. Wish you all the best for future pregnancies x

PSL1990 · 08/07/2019 09:57

@jemimafuddleduck @Bruce2 so sorry to hear BFNs, I'm gutted for you! There doesn't seem to be much luck in this thread - has anyone had a BFP yet??

I'm 6dp6dt now. I don't even want to test anymore, I'm sure I'm not pregnant. I remember when I got a BFP in 2017, I was sure beforehand that I was pregnant as I'd had days of cramps and backache. Nothing this time around. I think I may not even test at all and just wait for my period.

When can you guys start your next round? I'm doing natural cycles so I'm hoping I can have another transfer next month but haven't checked with my clinic yet.

Sending hugs! Xx

@Viletta ah well it only takes one, as they say, so hopefully 2 frosties will be more than enough to get the job done for you!

@jemimafuddleduck ugh sorry to hear this but there's still time – keeping everything crossed.

@Bruce2 when I read your post it made me think of all the many women who are convinced they're about to come on and then go on to get a BFP so am hoping you'll be joining their ranks v soon! xx

@PSL1990 every pg is different, no? I know it's hard to keep a kernel of hope but I am so hopeful this one is it for you!

I think I'm going to put the faint positive on Sunday night down to a faulty test. Have been testing morning and night since (I know, I'm so dumb) since and almost every test has a very, very, very faint line that you can only see if you're in the right light – nothing that you could capture in a photo since the 3dp5dt one and if I hadn't had the faint positive I wouldn't be looking so closely at them and would say they are all BFNs. I know for a fact that the 3dp5dt one was not the trigger because I had tested it out with FRER so I don't really know what to make of it. I'm just assuming at this point that the positive test was just a shitty FRER and that if I am pg, it's too early to show. I totally understand those who can't face testing and seeing BFNs but I'm in the groove now so I'm just going to carry on doing it – I am prepared for a failed cycle this time and hoping to do first FET in September if that;s what happens.

PSL1990 · 09/07/2019 06:37

@kell2126 every pregnancy must be different because I got a bfp this morning!

I've had 3 transfers in the last 2 years and the 2 times I've got a bfp are the 2 times I've had transfer day acupuncture - I recommend it!

jemimafuddleduck · 09/07/2019 06:53

@PSL1990 huge congrats xxx

kell2126 · 09/07/2019 07:54

@PSL1990 that's wonderful news!!! Massive congrats to you!!!! What dpt are you on?

itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted · 09/07/2019 08:08

Morning all so I had surgery for an ectopic last night - baby had a heartbeat but was growing in my tube so they had to remove both. (I lost my left tube to an ectopic last year) - this was a double FET June 17th

I know I can still try ivf again but really thought this was the one!

Bruce2 · 09/07/2019 08:11

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted
