So we're nearly at 1000 posts.... setting this up ready for round 2 when the other is full.

@squirrelnutkins1 🤣 I'm the same when I go! I'm ok thank you. Finished my last clomid tablet again last night this is the fourth round now. Just really hoping I'll have luck this month. Got acupuncture booked for Saturday, so hoping they'll give me a bit more of a chance. Disheartening isn't it the more time that goes on?!
How are you on the letrozole? Hope you're doing ok with everything xxx

@2fingers22018 thank you. I know, I am struggling to stay positive. Horrible just trying so hard to try and do everything right to help so this month I'm trying to relax a little more!! ❤️

I've booked some reflexology in line with the timing of (hopefully) ovulation. You read all sorts on line, getting a bit desp so will try anything lol!

Ooh have a great time! @veeboo sorry about the cramps. If af comes you can enjoy some guilt free cocktails! I had to view it like that when we went away. I never really drink but I really enjoyed doing it on hol!

I've got my counselling session on Friday with the new lady. Spoke to her on the phone this morning so we'll see how that goes! Then scan and reflexology next week, so busy busy. Can not believe it's July! How mad is that!?!

@squirrelnutkins1 hope your getting on ok with you new medication.
@Kelly199 I had my first acupuncture today & I loved it!! Felt all tingly & relaxed but full of energy.
Also my referral for ivf was sent today and we are going tomorrow to meet the team for a informal met and greet - then just waiting for our consultant appointment. I am so excited!! The nurse today who did our paper work was so lovely and positive. She reassured me so much especially we only get one funded round but I’ve found. Out today that say we get 15 eggs: 12 fertilised then they will implant one and freeze the good quality ones and then implant them all as part of the cycle and freeze for future siblings!! Hopefully it works first time but it’s really helped put my mind at ease :)

I don't know why I've just done it but I've just worked out I'd have been 20 weeks this week 💔☹️ how stupid am I. I told myself not to do it but I counted up anyway. Urgh 😢😢😢

@GreyC that's great news on all counts! I am enjoying accupuncture, had 2 sessions now. Thanks for sharing that info about ivf...I had thought that was the case but wasn't sure. Very reassuring. Glad you've left feeling upbeat.

@Kelly199 I've never thought to try it it sounds good tho! Is it expensive? Yeah I will do, I've read good things about reflexology so will see. I used the Treatwell website. I've got an initial appointment for an hour and a hour and it's only £15! Aww thank you. It was my own silly fault really 😢

Day 3 of Letrazole and all seems ok. I did wake up in the night with a really bad stitch but again could be coincidence, who knows!

@squirrelnutkins1 from what I've read on the website, the first treatment that includes the consultation is £65 and then £43 each one after. Don't know if that's good or bad, but only chose them because they're supposed to specialise in fertility acupuncture.
I think I'll enquire about the reflexology whilst I'm there because I think I'd prefer to have that treatment!
That's really good!! I'll have to try find somewhere that does it for that as that's really reasonable!

@kelly199 she said weekly but at least fortnightly. I'm going to try 2-3 times a month and see how I go. It's around the same process you have said.

The needles are incredibly fine. She sort of taps them in. It's a sharp scratch and then goes. They ask you how you feel and of it does twinge or anything they will adjust it and then you dont really feel much, maybe the odd tingle. When they come out its pain free. I had very small red marks on a couple of points but they went after a few hours.

That should say price, not process!

@Kelly199 yes it’s gone up to 476 so am really pleased! I also did a clear blue digital this am and it said 3+ not sure how that works though as not sure my hcg levels would be that high based on Sunday’s results! I’m ok am absolutely exhausted and my boobs are so sore!! How are you I thought I read somewhere you were feeling down if so I hope your ok?

Ah that's good then that you've found a fertility specialist one. Might do some investigating, see if there's anywhere local. I had reflexology once years ago by a friends mum. She didn't mention about anything being wrong. I don't really know how it all works, quite fascinating but apparently it can clear blockages and break down some bits of endometriosis so we'll see! Yeah 5 days so just tomorrow and Thurs to go. I googled the stitch type pain and read on a few forums about it. Seems very common. It's rib pain just under your boob. Very random.

I do feel slightly on edge about the Letrazole as it isn't actually an approved fertility drug, it's used for people with breast cancer! I'm glad I'm just taking it for short spates of time

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF thank you XX. So happy your results are on the up 🎉 does that mean you're classed as around 5 weeks then cus I think you add 2 weeks on to the clear blue dates? What's next for you, any follow up or just 12 week scan? Xx

@squirrelnutkins1 I am sure the drs wouldn’t give you it if it didn’t help try not to worry! I should be 5 weeks tomorrow so was expecting a 2-3 on it! I have a scan at 6weeks well it be 6 weeks and 2 days so a week on Friday!

@veeboo thanks - the informal chat went well thanks really great place and such friendly and helpful people so I am very excited to get started. Have to do a few forms then get my AMH tested and another 🙄 folic scan to count my follicles and then our protocol consultation! Eeep.

@GreyC so exciting!! Sorry if you've said this before but is your ivf private?

Cramps have subsided here but that would be usual for me. Af not due until Sunday/Monday. I'm still a bit in the hope zone but planning where we are going to eat and drink in Porto so I remain a bit realistic..I've even booked us into a port tasting!
