Ovarian reserve 9.2

Hi all,

Just got my tests back and they are normal thankfully (although I still need ivf due to Fallopian tube issues). The doctor said my ovarian reserve count is 9.2 which is normal (range between 3 something up to 20 is normal apparently). I want to do a little more reading on my results - do you know what that test is called? I forgot to ask thanks 😁

It depends on your clinic (I work in one) and see anything from 2 weeks to 12 weeks, a lot of clinics will stop cycles in Nov and Dec ready for Xmas incase egg collection falls when the theatres closed, there's usually a cut off in Nov for long cycles and a cut off in Dec for short cycles so do ask them just so you can be prepared if it's likely to be in the new year x

Thank you so much! I’m happy to wait till the new year so it’s all good. I was actually expecting a really long wait so I’m plesently surprised x

I can't work out what that could be - i would definitely call the clinic and just ask them what it was a measure of! I was told by GP and fertility clinic that FSH should be under 9 - mine was 8.6 or something and they said 'on the high end of normal'. My AMH was 5.9 which is low, and i was told follicle count of 5 was low and normal is 12-15 - so i can't think of any measure of ovarian reserve where anything between 3 and 20 is normal!

PhoebeMouse thanks for your reply. I obviously wasn’t listening properly! At least she said my results were normal whatever that may be! I’ll request my results again and let you all know what it was x
