It's looking likely these are my options, and I'd love to hear from anyone who has been through either of these and can recommend a clinic in Europe? Thanks! 💐

Totally agree. And if embryo donation then you will know the quality as prob frozen fertilised

Unless find de that matches your blood and DNA and then use sperm donor

It's a lot to think about x

So, I think we've decided on Reprofit! We are going to visit in early January as we are over in the U.K. for xmas and New Years. Dh will leave a sample for them to freeze. Then we will save up for an egg donation cycle hopefully in the spring/early summer when I will go over by myself for 4-6 days. Saves us a chunk of money doing it this way. If it turns out his swimmers are no good, then they can change it to a fresh embryo donation pretty easily. I will do all my meds and ultrasounds here in the states and we can plan things quite easily in advance if they control my cycle/lining before fertilizing the eggs. Very exciting! The coordinator at Reprofit has been lovely. I could be very pregnant by this time next year. I'm over the moon!

Fantastic and yes freezing sperm and checking it when do donor egg sounds the way to go :)

So glad you are going this route tho if possible I would advise dh going with you for transfer tho understand it's cheaper just you - but nice to have the emotional support

A de medication is a bit like a fet as in no daily injections (yah)

And let me know where /when in uk over Xmas /ny - be nice to catch up tho I will be waddling 😉😉

Would love to catch up when I'm over, waddling or not lol, will pm you on fb Smile Yes I agree the emotional support would be good but dh only gets 3 weeks off per year and he's using most of that over xmas/new year. It's a tough decision but the flights are $1k plus each too so financially we would rather put the money into the cycle rather than the travel if you see what I mean. The embryo transfer isn't as emotionally taxing as the 2ww and testing so I'm as happy with the decision as I can be.
It feels good to Make A Plan, and Reprofit so far have been really lovely to deal with. The Dr looked through all my blood work results and his lordships sperm analyses and has been very honest and realistic with us. He feels egg donation/dh sperm will probably not work out with his 1% morphology but is happy to see if his sample is good enough to do icsi. If not we go for double donor/embryo donation.
