If so, please join the club. Let's keep each other going!

In our case, we're going abroad for ours - Norway. What about you?

yes work have been fantastic, i've only told my boss and anyone else i've said its a medical appointment, its private and i don't want to talk about it!! a few have fished but i've stuck to my guns and will stay that way until there is something to tell, the last thing i need is everyone asking me 24/7!!

Kwick709 · 09/04/2016 12:16

goinggrey your job sounds amazing - must take a lot of energy and dedication.

I know have a twin bruise on the other side of my tummy... Clexane blunt needles strike again!

goinggrey1978 · 09/04/2016 12:39

Kwick709, thanks!! I'm bored stiff today, all I want to do is hoover and move furniture around in the lounge, but not allowed to do either, all this resting lark is doing my head in, I'll be so glad to be back to work on Monday!! Yes I was covered in bruises during my first cycle as I had burslin injections!

NotSpartacus · 09/04/2016 12:45

Hey all,

Your job sounds far more rewarding than mine, goinggrey. How are you doing today?

Sasha I stay away from those baby programmes whenever possible! These days am occupying myself with House of Cards and Zita West's (hilarious) relaxation in the 2ww thing.

Kwick last night I spent ages looking for a non-bruised, not too likely to hurt area of tum in which to inject. Worst thing is it looks as though my (too tight, clearly) jeans have left a bruise imprint behind. Thank God it is cold and I am not a bikini-wearer!

5dp5dt, itching to pee on a stick but scared of the outcome. All my imaginary "symptoms" have gone away, even my boobs have stopped hurting (which I guess means my oestrogen is back to normal). Sigh. Please stay put magic beans.

goinggrey1978 · 09/04/2016 13:29

notSpartacus I'm alright, just soo bored of watching tv constantly, itching to change the lounge furniture round, but can't!! Would quite like to wash the kitchen floor but can't!! Following the rules about not lifting, carrying or anything strenuous are so hard!! I unpacked a few work summer tops and put them in the wardrobe earlier and I got dressed before lunchtime or bedtime for a change!!

NotSpartacus · 09/04/2016 15:40

So like an idiot I did an early test... BFN of course. But it is very early, I did it mid day, and rather than dipping the test per the instructions I did it mid stream. At least I know now my trigger is gone now so WHEN I get my BFP I'll know it is real...

Kwick709 · 09/04/2016 18:17

notspartacus on other threads you would have got a hooyah for testing so soon! Also next time FMU please! And a FRER! Wink

NotSpartacus · 09/04/2016 20:51

I know, it was silly. Struggling to keep the faith a bit now (cramps feeling ominous). Won't test again before Tuesday I think. OTD is a week today so that seems about right.

Everhopeful76 · 09/04/2016 20:58

Hi all,
hope everything going ok. Not been on for a few days, because I had a bit of a scare with my thyroid condition. My tsh went really high, but was eventually reassured that increasing my medication was a fairly normal response in pregnancy esp in 1st trimester. My endocrine system crashing so early on, was a bit of a shocker though, and was under replaced so had felt exhausted and then felt pretty low. OK today hooray!!
I have decided to keep saying on a daily basis, today I am pregnant and am really happy about that. I could be constantly anxious about the anticipation of a not so great outcome otherwise.
Notspartacus -def too early testing. My micro symptom spotting at the same stage made me think I often wasn't pregnant, then I d get something else, a twinge, a wave of nausea and then think ...right back in the game.

Hi to Sashaw88 - welcome and to all you testing next week, all the very best of luck!!!
Kwik - when do you have your early scan? Gotta be next week, yes?. Mine is 18th April
x

goinggrey1978 · 10/04/2016 07:32

morning everyone, spent most of the night playing the too hot/too cold game with the covers again!! so feeling very tired again!! just a few jobs to do before back to work tomorrow!

Sashaw88 · 10/04/2016 08:28

Morning Ladies!

How are we all feeling? I tested again this morning and obviously BFN but now too scared to test early next week so I might push it back by a couple of days or even book myself in for a blood test rather than HPT. My periods have always been extremely regular so I'm anticipating a period before a pg test if I'm honest.

I did freak out Friday night as I had period-pain and I thought WELL THAT'S IT THEN but read online that this is quite normal and usually results in BFP. I haven't been cramping since. Anyone else with similar experience?

What's everyone's stance on DTD? We "did it" last night but I was so paranoid we were going to destabilise the embryo (I know! I'm so ridiculous!) or damage my insides...!

NotSpartacus · 10/04/2016 09:08

sasha there will be no action for me, I am on the Crinone and have cottage cheese like goop in my vagina (it's the gel, not some sort of discharge). Quite apart from the yuck factor I don't want my DH to get a dose of progesterone (which is probably impossible but I'm also afraid my embryos fell out after transfer so clearly not 100% rational).

goinggrey1978 · 10/04/2016 09:22

even if i had a lovely male partner, they wouldn't be going anywhere near there, pessaries give a lovely discharge 3 times a day, so feel unclean all the time!

Kwick709 · 10/04/2016 09:42

All of you lovely ladies that have had an embryo transfer and are in the 2WW are PUPO: pregnant until prived otherwise!

NotSpartacus · 10/04/2016 09:53

Trying very hard to feign positivity, but not really managing. Just popped into the clinic to collect some meds and cried on the nurse. I am not normally a crier, so maybe this is a good sign but I suppose it could also be the drugs..

Kwick709 · 10/04/2016 13:11

Oops! I mean proved!

Sashaw88 · 11/04/2016 08:32

Period pains anyone? I am cramping this morning and it's scaring me because my period would normally be due

NotSpartacus · 11/04/2016 09:04

I'm quite crampy Sasha. My friend who had IVF success after a lot of attempts said her doctor told her cramps on 9dp5dt were promising. He turned out to be right - she had cramps and is pregnant. Aren't you around 9 days now?

Sashaw88 · 11/04/2016 09:15

notsparacus I am already 14dp - my 2ww is almost over, I'm allowed to test tomorrow but I'm too scared it will be a bfn. :-(

NotSpartacus · 11/04/2016 09:48

Wasn't your transfer on the 3rd, or am I mixing you up with someone else? That would make you 8 days past transfer (ie prime cramp territory).

NotSpartacus · 11/04/2016 10:09

Just retread the paper from my clinic -OTD is not until the 19th! They must be bonkers!

Sashaw88 · 11/04/2016 11:35

Oops NotSparacus! I thought you meant day past ovulation, no so yes 9 days past 5 day transfer (still getting used to the MN lingo!). Well that's a hopeful sign then :)

Oh no! Not till the 19th?! I thought you were only 1 day behind me. I wouldn't be able to wait that long!

NotSpartacus · 11/04/2016 11:42

I am, the clinic is crazy. I am not waiting that long, not least because I will run out of Crinone a couple of days before then and refuse to buy more if it isn't needed!

Kwick709 · 11/04/2016 13:54

You go girl notspartacus!!!! Wish I could be that assertive with CRGH... Although in general they have taken very good care of me. I am sitting here now waiting for my early scan... Completely bricking it! Grin

NotSpartacus · 11/04/2016 13:58

Oooh, I just has a sneaky nap under my desk. Is afternoon napping a sign of anything other than too many carbs??
