PortBlacksand · 01/03/2010 22:14

This is so . He was always so witty and smart.

PortBlacksand · 01/03/2010 22:15

And agree about Jan Muir

bronze · 01/03/2010 22:20

Just saw this on the news and was shocked. Our house was on to buy and he seemed so lovely. I also really enjoyed his program recently where he built his own place.

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 22:55

Just seen this- have lots of my topics hidden temporarily, and started a thread in _Chat, sorry. Yes, the Jan Moir thing occured to me too

Poor guy.

Really sad . The cause of death is reported in national news in my home country. Can´t decide if it would be gossip to write it here, or if people would like to know.

Rocinante · 02/03/2010 07:51

Cause of death has been reported in The Sun here (UK) too. Very sad.

MrsSnoops · 02/03/2010 07:58

I feel really sad about this. I really liked him.

TabithaSmith · 02/03/2010 08:02

Why on earth is tehir a BBC breakfast reporter 'reporting live from the scene' outside his house.

FFS.

hippipotamiHasLost80lbs · 02/03/2010 08:06

That is so sad I really liked him.

diddl · 02/03/2010 08:49

He did seem really nice & not too "showbizzy".

Really sad about this & usually the death of someone that I don´t really know doesn´t really bother me iyswim.

WinkyWinkola · 02/03/2010 09:33

Very sad.

I really liked his presenting style too. He was lively, entertaining, charming.

ilovesprouts · 02/03/2010 10:12

the sun says it was solo sex game that went wrong !!

thisisyesterday · 02/03/2010 10:13

oh no! i loved Kristian that's so sad

BenHer · 02/03/2010 10:38

Very sad.If reports are true then it seems he paid the ultimate price for what was essentially a decent wank. What a waste!

Flightattendant · 02/03/2010 10:46

surely the f*cking sun would say that anyway, it says that about everyone who is gay and dies young.

Bastards can't get enough of it can they.

BitOfFun · 02/03/2010 10:55

Auto-erotic asphyxiation is quite commn though- completely unconnected to whether you're gay or straight. It's what David Carradine died from last year. Very risky though, obviously. The police have found evidence that Krustian accidently suffocated, but his death is so far unexplained as it does not appear to be suicide.

Tragic for him and his family, however it happened though, obviously, and I hope that prurience over the circumstances doesn't overshadow this. Jan Moir must be chomping at the bit.

BigBadMummy · 02/03/2010 11:06

"unexplained" is media speak for something a bit sordid in these situations, I am certain.

Michael Hutchence died the same way.

"unexplained" because they don't want to start a rumour and then have to quash it or explain it in a libel court. Nothing to suggest suicide and unfortunately apparently healthy young men do not "just die".

A shame that the Sun feels it appropriate to be reporting this in such a sleazy manner less than 24 hours after his death. They just can't help themselves, all for the sake of selling a few more copies.

ilovesprouts · 02/03/2010 12:07

pm at 12 today

BratleyBackToNormal · 02/03/2010 12:12

Got to say though, I did think 'Wonder if Jan Muir will have her say...?'

biglips · 02/03/2010 12:31

What on earth makes you think The Sun ever cares about what is appropriate!
