This case pretty shocking. Baby girl died after being left in a car seat in a hotel room alone with 2 other children under 2 whilst their parents were drinking in the bar.

I was shocked to read the following points-

-The seven children the mum has given birth to since June 2015, only four have survived longer than 16 months
-Both the mum and the dad, a violent offender released from a 30-month jail stint for robbery just before the relationship started, were known to social services.
-Both parents have known alcohol issues
-Domestic violence was suspected
-Hospital called the Police when the mother turned up to her 20 week scan drunk

How can they be allowed to still keep their remaining children? Why were they not prosecuted?

Reported in the news today although it happened in 2016.

I am astounded by the fact that these people were allowed to keep their children

One twin (to the 13 month old) died near birth, another in this case, and the poorly 13month old also taken on this holiday has died of an infection since then.

She left her young children alone so she could get drunk.

The rest of the story doesnt matter. That is piss poor parenting and she does not deserve to keep her children. Those poor babies.

I have been through dreadful trauma. I still would never leave my child alone to go drinking. I think that's inexcusable.

Why are people feeling sorry for her?

Eh, because 3 of her babies have died. She/they may have made some stupid decisions along the course of their parenting but to have your baby die (let alone 3), must be one of the most horrific experiences you could have in your life.

This is such a sad story, part of me feels sorry for the parents but I really don't think they are adequate to be parents at the moment. I can't begin to imagine how they felt after the loss of the first set of twins let alone the second.
Just to add my son was born at 28 weeks and our journey home from the hospital was over an hour, we were told to stop half way and get a coffee so we could stretch him out as the car seat position is dangerous for prem babies.
