I didn't say anything she did with her kids was a crime - I would expect social services to be involved if it was. What I am saying is that she is not, imo, a particularly impressive role model as either a woman or a mother. the bottle of juice thing is a particular bug bear of mine (and would be of yours too if you were related to any dentists as I am) but i see your point - it is relatively minor in the scheme of things. I note that noone is questioning my point about leaving them for weeks on end while she goes on TV - that is more of a "crime" in my opinion - I know plenty of mothers from all backgrounds and wlaks of life and none of them would leave a what, 3 and 2 year old for that long for the sake of their "career" (and I am a working mother before you accuse me of being unsympathetic to working mothers). I am perfectly aware that much of what is reported is nonsense, it just annoys me when people like this are held up as role models as mothers when they clearly are no better than any of us at being mothers and possibly worse due to their own selfishness and obsession with fame - equally with Kerry Katona who actually got voted mother of the year! Contrast with Jordan who clearly is a devoted mother.

Anyway - who cares, why do we spend so much time discussing them - I'm afraid Jade is just one celeb that gets under my skin as she is just so nasty.

It is done for all the wrong reasons, I am sure. I also have read an article (you know one of those pointless ones where Jade makes an announcement/statement that has probably taken her all week to think up and they make a whole interview out of it) where she said she wouldn't have any more kids as she 'didn't want two different fathers'. Thought it was an odd thing to say - obviously she has now changed her mind.

I do wish her luck in her pregnancy though. Just seems to me many people in the public ey have a baby to increase revenue/popularity and it gets on my tits.

again kerry is a 'famous for being famous' person. Yes i know she was in Atomic Kitten but that group got big AFTER she left. Who cares if she was married to Brian McFadden (that was my uncles name!), those bloody icland adverts >>Grrrr

I leave my child to go on business - but never for more than 1 or 2 nights, but that's my choice. 2 weeks I could probably do too with older kids. I just think weeks on end (multiple times - remember that channel 5 house reality show?) is a bit much, personally.

And Liz Mcdonald from coronation street always reminds me of Uncle Peter from The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer

sounds like a good way to get back into the press to me, sorry but I find her horrid - always have. She was a nasty bully from the start of her glittering "career" with good PR...

I can think of loads of celebrity moms who seem like brilliant mothers but Kerry? I'm shocked.
