monkeytrousers · 24/04/2007 00:12

Is this the hairy bloke that used to be on childrens tv?

AitchTwoOh · 24/04/2007 00:14

sssshhh, mt, he's recanted.

monkeytrousers · 24/04/2007 07:53

Sorry - don't think he's a loon for simply saying it, is he?

BUT, he has form for being a bit of a hypocrite (don't we all, hehe) because I remember from my younger years him saying on a phone in that he would NEVER get his hair cut and wear a suit and I swear I've never seen him out of one post 2000!

Those of you who are getting increasingly annoyed at Today, may I suggest switching to BBC World Service (if you have a digital radio)? You get a much better quality of news and discussion in the mornings that way.

Spidermama · 24/04/2007 12:27

Monkey I never see him in a suit and I see him a couple of times a week at least.

Last time I saw him he was naked from the trousers up and dripping in sweat from his jog.

belgo · 24/04/2007 12:30

My 19 month old has a TV in her bedroom.
except:

it's our bedroom and since we've had dd2 sleeping in with us we don't watch the TV.

We'll be moving her in with DD1 soon, where there is no TV in the bedroom.

And we'll get out our bedroom with it's TV back.

RnBee · 24/04/2007 12:36

isn't this the same guy who said the watching TV as an infant causes autism?

Haha, my 3yo knows how to make a basic filter (bucket, stones, gravel, sand, put pooey water in the top, come out cleaner) and all about all kinds of engines (and is desperate to see the big one at Kew - but that's because we let him watch Good TV, not cack Mark Williams' series re the Industrial Revolution is marvellous stuff - we all love it.

I love TV though. Mostly.

hunkermunker · 24/04/2007 12:41

Shit, just realised my 15mo has a TV in his room...because he shares with us!

But my 3yo doesn't. And when we move, the 15mo won't either. Just us, because we say so

AitchTwoOh · 24/04/2007 13:29

my 16-month-old dd has a tv in her room because it used to be ours and we don't have anywhere in our new room yet for the telly. sometimes we even switch it on and Watch A DVD. Of in the night garden ha ha so you're all jealous now...
