Anyone see the 29yo who's suing her landlord for not telling her she shouldn't dance on her roof when drunk?

Unless someone comes up with a spectacularly good reason why she should win this case...I'm hoping she loses!

I've never voted Labour, UCM, and I don't intend to start now!

All letter in Metro were anti this woman getting a penny - and wondering why she didn't sue the drink company for making the alcohol that got her drunk in the first place, and one also wondering if she was going to be sued for trespass for going onto a roof she didn't lease!

That one made me laugh - it didn't say he shouldn't do that in Metro, so I think he has a good case

All these mad cases are red herrings tbh.

Not one of them, when it has actually come to court under English law, have been upheld.

Sometimes idiot companies pay out of court settlements because it costs less than to go to court and is less trouble and less uncertain. But if they went, they'd win.

Irishbird, why do you say it doesn't say how far it's got?

The article says she's seeking damages and says:

Mrs Mayers, now 29, used a window to get on to the roof of a garage attached to her flat in Islington in February 2002, the High Court in London heard.
