I was forced to because my old name was pinched by someone else (shouldn't be possible, but it happened)

it was HORRIBLE starting all over again and I wouldn't do it again

Also I avoid controversy and arguments so I don't usually feel the need to hide and wouldn't care if anyone worked out who I was
