how often do you namechange?

to discuss things you don't want associated with your normal nick, not just to change a part of your name iykwim.

of course cod could never namechange to discuss anything personal as her inimitable style would give her away instantly

I've never name changed apart from a very obvious Christmas name. I probably should have done for some threads but I think I get more from mnet if other posters know my history. And that sounds very self-centred.

Only at Christmas or if I have issues involving sex or the nether regions to talk about.

I wouldn't want to lose the relationship I've built up with MN and start afresh.

when I first joined I name-changed a lot, until I found one that I felt comfortable with really. Still change occasionally if I feel like a change or if I have something embarrassing to ask.

I've done it once, ages and ages ago. Not because I didn't want MNers to know who I was, but because I was worried that people who already knew me might find my posts.

I just don't care now

I have name changed a few times for my more serious, personal posts, because I needed to try & be a little careful.
I have also had to change my regular name once due to some RL spying!

I've only done it the once - and only because I've said enough about myself on here to be quite easily identifiable by anyone who really wants to find me. I did it for a very candid post on local schools, not fanjos .
