DonkeyOaty · 29/05/2016 17:20

BBC link

YouSay · 29/05/2016 17:20

They left him in a area full of bears. I hope they are arrested.

JustABigBearAlan · 29/05/2016 19:33

This story has really shocked me. Poor poor little boy. And I can't believe what the parents did, but part of me feels sorry for them too. They must be in hell right now Sad

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 29/05/2016 19:39

Cannot fathom what the hell possessed them - utterly unbelievable.

I hope he is found hiding somewhere, and that his parents have the book thrown at them.

Oh, that's horrid.

They could all have been eaten by bears if it's that populated by them.

I wonder why they changed their story?

VanessaBet · 29/05/2016 19:46

My guess is that it wasn't 5 minutes either. Bet that's been whittled down and it was longer. Poor child.

YouSay · 29/05/2016 19:49

I can't stop thinking how scared he must be. They have hundreds out looking for 2 days now but still no sign Sad

Alibobbob · 29/05/2016 19:49

That's awful poor little boy. I hope he's found safe x

Buggers · 29/05/2016 19:52

I'm not believing they left him for 5 minutes either, have a feeling they know more than their telling the police. Really hope the poor little boy is ok.

FructoseTart · 29/05/2016 19:55

Holy crap!

Hope he's found safe and well but I very much doubt it. How scared must he have been. Poor little boy!

Hassled · 29/05/2016 19:59

I've done the pretending I'm walking away thing before but 500 metres in a forest? Barking, barking mad. Poor kid.

YouSay · 29/05/2016 20:01

It is very strange. I think there has to be more to this story. Who brings their kids for a day out to an area populated with bears?

Hope he is found safe and well.

ShatnersBassoon · 29/05/2016 20:09

Even if it was just 5 minutes, that's a very long time to want to terrify a child for. What the hell were these idiots trying to teach the poor thing? Sad

MrsSpecter · 29/05/2016 21:14

Yeah thats an odd destination for a family outing.

And all those people now at risk from bears whilst they help look for a child that probably wont be found.

WilentSitness · 29/05/2016 21:20

Well, this isn't a western middle class family presumably, so our ideals are probably quite different.

crazymammy · 29/05/2016 21:22

I have no words

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 29/05/2016 22:08

Ideals? Irrespective of culture, leaving your young child alone in a forest known to be home to bears is not acceptable!

nancy75 · 29/05/2016 22:10

Actually the bears are just an added issue, who leaves their little kid in any forest on their own? It's just awful

nilbyname · 29/05/2016 22:16

wilent I can't really explain why but I find your post quite racist.

White middle class people abuse, neglect and do all sorts of horrible things to their children.

OhNoNotMyBaby · 29/05/2016 22:18

Fructose Exactly how are you managing to draw a comparison between this story and Madeleine McCann? How totally ridiculous... Shock
