I'm afraid I cannot believe the bit I've heard (won't actually degrade myself by reading it), about HM using a bedpan for night-time.
I am disabled, and firstly can't imagine that any woman would EVER choose to use a bedpan if there was an alternative (esp if SHARING a bed).
Secondly when she first lost her leg, I am pretty damned sure that physio and Occupational therapists would have taught her to use crutches with her good leg, or at least transfer herself to a wheelchair.
And don't tell me they couldn't afford an en-suite, to save herself a treck down the corridor.
