The Grillo case (AKA Nigella & Saatchi)

So the last thread on the Grillo case is full.

I have taken the liberty of starting a new one here for people's thoughts as the case unfolds.

A "monster" who let the woman in his life and her entourage spend to their hearts' content... Hard for Nigella to turn her back on perhaps?

But he didn't tho, did he? He took them to court for theft!

Also doesn't sound as though the money bought any body any content. Seems to have all gone on paying other people to facilitate a life that people in the household weren't able/allowed to live.

I think she probably found his clever and funny to start with but he was a nightmare to live with in due course. I am sure they will all be fine now it's all over.

I see the Grillos are starting on the publicity circuit. They are going to be on This Morning next week.

Did anyone see the interesting article in the Sunday Times a couple of weeks ago? Apparently the Grillos hired Richard Hillgrove as their PR. He was the one who started widely peddling the drugs stories. TBH I struggle to see how that isn't perverting the course of justice.

Yup, on TM this morning. Can't post what I really think of them. But this appearance has confirmed my already low opinion of them.

I'd like to know why, if the household were so awful, the Grillos stayed there for years and years.

The TM interview was hardly much of a 'grillo-ing' anyway!

I refused to watch it.

I didn't even switch on today in order to make sure I didn't see it. Listened to R4 instead which is much better in the mornings anyway. Think I'll stick with it - at least until dh starts getting up again and decides we should watch the bloody tv instead.

I really don't want to know any more about the, er, whatever they ares than I already do.
