shocking that he took it right to the wire - costing CPS (ie all of us) enormous amount of money. Now his texts etc with his son are being reported. Looks like the son will testify he "forced" his then wife to take the points. How would you force someone to do that I wonder? Following with interest.

Apparently the penalty for this kind of offence is very likely to be custodial. The Courts take it very seriously.
Silly man, he could have come out of this with a slap on the wrist and a penalty for speeding.

this waste-of-oxygen is a crook and a liar. He has clearly realised at the last minute that he would have to stand up and commit perjury, so in the interest of a lighter sentence he has finally owned up. Having wasted a lot of public money.
