Father and Mother of 6 children killed in fire are arrested over Murder

Breaking news is that Mr and Mrs Philpott have been arrested for the murder of their six children. I cannot believe this has happened. I pray that a mistake has been made. RIP children.

Yes, the conviction was overturned and she was freed in October last year.

I thought that the Amanda Knox process was still ongoing? There is still a slander trial, I think relating to the accusations made against police.

Is that the official line?? They have actually been charged now??

I drove past the house today and it's heartbreaking. All of the floral tributes were removed yesterday, and there's just a police cordon now and various media vans. So so sad Sad

YardBroom: there's a thread somewhere in chat (which goes phut idc) which might be a better place for gossip.

BBC story on the charges here. It includes a statement from the police that these charges do not indicate the end of the investigation.

I suppose it will all come out eventually at a future trial.
