It isn't a question of if, but when.

Well, it's in neighboring France now so I guess tomorrow's roast will be the last for some time.

Is anybody else worrying about this?

Shit, literally! Dd & ds have bird droppings on their windowsills. I should clean it off but don't want to get any in the house by opening the window. Argh!

If they're old droppings, I wouldn't be too concerned. W/this weather, it's doubtful they're going to be hanging their heads out the window.

sansouci · 27/02/2006 10:06

This is true. We've got a fierce & freezing wind blowing today so no windows open for sure.

I must not panic, I must not panic...(!)

sans souci I think you need to look at statistical probablity and it is very much the case that bird flu harming your family is ver low down on the list of possible disasters or tragedies that could befall you.

sansouci · 27/02/2006 10:21

Yes, maybe for the moment.

as i have said before, i think you have more chance of being knocked down by a bus, or picking up a dose of canker from a manky old town pidgeon.

jac34 · 27/02/2006 10:34

We live in a city were there are hundreds of pigeons, that would be my main concern if it did come to this country.
At least it would be an excuse to kull the bloody thingsGrin
