cfc I'm sure you'd realise it would be risky to post about your employer, or your experiences directly relating to your work for them.
But what if you posted about generalities pertaining to your industry on Twitter or sites such as this one, such as 'if you are footballer, women are round you like flies round shit'? That's undoubtedly true.
Do you think anyone should be penalised for saying things like that? Have you never commented frankly or negatively anywhere about colleagues or work acquaintances? Do you think it would be okay to be summarily dismissed for that, particulary in the event of a media storm?
I'm not sticking up for Ched Evans, Connor Brown or any arsewipe who supports rapists and the abuse of women. I'm just saying we should all think about the implications of what we say.
You were the one who brought wag-bashing to my mind with your OP. reactionaryfish asked you about it and though I wasn't convinced by your reply I thought I'd drop it.
But seeing as you keep going on about it, how do you explain this from your OP?
Why do footballers have such a low opinion of women? Have the likes of Imogen Thomas et al ruined us all in their eyes?
and this from a subsequent post:
do they view ALl women as undependable and easy for them to bed now, and they have the right to bed them if they flash the cash?
BTW did you ask your DH how he responded to this revolting event: My husband recently heard a young man in his gym say to another, complete with 'feeding the pony' ' hand gesture "you've got to flash the cash to get the gash". I mean, seriously?!?
Do you think these ideas are acceptable or do you think they should be challenged at every opportunity?
Or is it someone else's fault?
