Its just so so sad. I can't believe the riots have now resulted in murder. I hope they find those responsible fast and bring them to justice.

Completely heartbreaking :(

TheDailyWail · 10/08/2011 15:51

So, so sad. He sounds like he is a great dad and his boy sounds like he was a great son.

Nancy66 · 10/08/2011 16:29

How awful - he seems like a lovely dad. Hope they get the driver of the car.

nethunsreject · 10/08/2011 16:33

Saw it on BBC - what a tragic waste and what a fine man Sad

TarquinGyrfalcon · 10/08/2011 16:47

How sad. He was so dignified.

cjbartlett · 10/08/2011 16:49

Yes they've already arrested a 21 yr old man Sad

JaneBennet · 10/08/2011 17:16

Incredibly sad. He was very dignified, I can't imagine how awful it is for their family.

Raahh · 10/08/2011 18:05

Extremely dignified man. My heart goes out to his familySad.

sue52 · 10/08/2011 18:06

He was so gracious and dignified. I thought it was wonderful that he called for peace and order when his heart was obviously broken.

DioneTheDiabolist · 10/08/2011 18:08

Absolutely heartbreaking. My prayers are with Mr. Jahan and his family.

mrstimlovejoy · 10/08/2011 18:19

just watching it on my local news
a 32 year old man has been arrested
2 of the men killed were brothers Sad

queenmaeve · 10/08/2011 18:50

So tragic. My heart just goes out to that poor man and all of the families. He was so dignified when he spoke. I wept for him.

FellatioNelson · 10/08/2011 21:49

Now that IS a young man whose death is worth protesting over. anyone in Tottenham want to march on the police station and demand 'justice' for him? No. Thought not.

belledechocchipcookie · 10/08/2011 21:51

Sad Heartbreaking. I hope he's given the hero status that he deserves and his family is given the space they need to grieve.

EustaciaVye · 10/08/2011 21:55

The saddest thing is his sentence at the end. "A few days from now nobody will care".

FellatioNelson · 10/08/2011 21:57

And he is right. His son's name will disappear out of the headlines, and the only one to get some warped Hero status out of this is some two-bit gangster with a loaded gun. (allegedly.)

Shameful.

landrover · 10/08/2011 22:06

amazing man

LauraIngallsWilder · 10/08/2011 22:09
