I am very very glad that he has gone and no longer has no bearing on rape policy. But i dont think he should have been given the dignity of walking, he should have been uncermoniously booted out.

Glad he's gone as convener of the justice committee, shame he still stands as an MSP! He will be gone from that as well soon enough as he's not standing for election again, but really he should be booted out from all public roles.

So glad he has stepped down, his comments are disgraceful. I live in Glasgow and as a previous poster wrote, the back streets are badly lit, plenty of recesses/big bins etc.
