Giraffes - glad the rabbit stayed well hidden and didn't somehow escape from his cage at the wrong moment!

JKS - my parents have a tempur mattress. It is very weird and was incredibly expensive from what I remember! Hope you find something that suits FIL, it's horrid not being able to sleep at someone else's house.

Wasting - messy DH is a nightmare. Mine is awful. After the coffee machine incident this morning I came back upstairs to find the innards of a new computer spread all over our bed - apparently he was 'just checking all the parts had arrived'

I have had ever so slightly too much to drink . Having a relaxing day tomorrow - parents are leaving about 11am to go up and see my brother so we will have the day to ourselves. May do a few jobs.

Turns out ours is actually a 'memory foam' mattress but was fine when they slept on our bed once so can go for that which is cheaper than the Tempur brand. Have found some possibilities, just need to persuade DH it's needed.

Hi can I join in please? Have tried a few times in the past but gave up to soon.

I'm a working mum, got a very active 2 year old DS and a lovely partner and have a house which looks okay but is in need of a very big clearout.

We also tend to make things harder for ourself by not cleaning up regulalry and needing a big clean at weekends or when we are due visitors. We have a lot of things which could be given to charity so plenty to get me started.

I want to be able to feel confident if friends pop by and not worry about the mess.

I often wish i could have someone else's jobs, hanging up a a shower curtain sounds do-able, buying a bed just isn't as DH doesn't want to spend time on it.

His comment being he won't see his parents for at least 6 weeks as they are going to Oz to see their other son (BIL) but he's since disappeared upstairs, then will prob hide behind the paper, so hardly 'spending time with them'!

Oh well, no rush anyway as they won't be back for a while so we don't need it asap.

Thank you - feel quite nervous about it! Was lovely seeing friends who we've not seen for ages. Met their lovely daughter born a week before our DS2.
