Ali, I need to find out about how well the house is insulated, and what the regs are, but the main problem is that the window is painted shut. I think it was our decorator that did that though. Landlord is going to replace the bedroom and frontroom window this spring (allegedlee) but I have made opening the bedroom window number 1 prioritee.

Well I can confirm that walking nearly 2 miles to supermarket and back is not that fun when there is slippery squashed snow on the ground . Still, it got the dc's some exercise and out of the house time. Both driving me mad today, dd is mum, mum, mum, MUM, mum mum MUM MUM MUMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYing and ds is on a whingeathon. He cried the whole way back from supermarket, wanted to walk, wanted to get in buggy, wanted to play with snow, the snow was too cold but just didn't stop crying no matter what I did so in the end said right if you're going to cry no matter what then you can just cry in the buggy. Then some woman said ah he's cold poor little mite and made me feel guilty for getting cross with him. I don't think he was cold though tbh, he was well layered with his fleece lined togz snowsuit over the top. Plus it's very different hearing someone elses child cry for 5 mins than having to listen to your own cry ALL morning!

People are always very free with advice when you have kids esp babies and like you say they don't know how many clothes your DS is wearing etc. dont worry about it.

Ithink after 2 mins you don't hear your own dcs crying, it just becomes background noise

dd1 was at hosp this morning increased her drops to 6x for 2 weeks then 5x then back to hosp
she needs to go to gp on Mon for a bloodtest as her liver function is playing up and on top of that she has worms
then ds complained he had a sore bum and yes he has them too!!
so off I go to clean clean clean
I already give their btms a good wash evey morning and they wear clean jammies every night(thats why I always have soo much washing)
I think I'm going to go mad
although before the summer I know at least one mum at the school who said herdcs had them and never informed the school, so looks like it will be my job as they are getting them somewhere!!!!!
And My poor dcs have chapped hands I make them wash their hands so much, gp says I am a little bit OTT (OCD)
