Mine is Green Gloss and its matched our house which is red painted bricks (the bricks were already painted before i moved in).

i wanted Green colour to stand out from the row of houses on the main road.

brown because we rent

Tortington · 15/08/2009 15:50

pistachio - i didn't chose it but i like it

differentID · 15/08/2009 15:53

white because it was on the house when we moved in.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 15/08/2009 16:01

Currently an unpleasant orangey-brown (previous owner's choice). Tomorrow I am painting it a muted pale green colour (think it is called Chappell Green).

StillNorks · 15/08/2009 16:03

Brown - I hate it and will be painting it blue, when I have the time

FranSanDisco · 15/08/2009 16:04

Red because I love pillar box red doors.

ComeOVeneer · 15/08/2009 16:07

Currently white (as it was when we moved in). Will be gloss racing green in a few mnonths time when the huse is 10 years old and we are alowed to alter the outside appearance fom all the others is the street (damn private residence association)

GrapefruitMoon · 15/08/2009 16:11

Used to be green but now it's a F&B blue - chosen because I love blue and it will go better with the rug in the hallway. Turned out a brighter shade than I expected though...

LaurieFairyCake · 15/08/2009 16:11

Lavender blue - my fave colour

whomovedmychocolate · 15/08/2009 16:14

It's not only oak but it has to be stained in antique oak because the house is listed and in a conservation area (how dull!)

shandyleer · 15/08/2009 16:16

Sort of sagey green, because was fed up of the previous glossy red showing all the dirt and dust.

HollyBunda · 15/08/2009 16:26

we just painted it a high gloss pinky cherise colour called Russian velvet 3 by Dulux. it's gorgeous.

Black to match the cast iron gutters and black and white victorian floor tiles.

lyraSilvertongue · 16/08/2009 12:14

Mine is a very pale greyish blue low-gloss paint from Farrow and Ball. We have chrome letter box etc and it looks great. I love it.

lyraSilvertongue · 16/08/2009 12:17

I really can't stand white upvc doors with those weird handles. Why would anyone choose that?

ilovemydogandmrobama · 16/08/2009 12:19

Farrow and Ball Ballroom Blue

Saw it at a restaurant in Bath and thought it looked great

brimfull · 16/08/2009 12:23

white

to match woodwork on the house

CheeryCherry · 16/08/2009 12:28

White, with black hinges/letterbox etc. Because i hated the red that was on when we moved, and cos i think it looks more, ermm, stylish.

purepurple · 16/08/2009 16:31

white upvc
it was there when we bought the house
but I would love to change it for a proper wooden door painted black like the prime minister's

Swedes · 16/08/2009 16:35

Black.

Platesmasher · 16/08/2009 16:36

I have no idea what colour my front door is. I'll go and have a look.

Platesmasher · 16/08/2009 16:41

It's white.
