ironing without a doubt - i send it off now though cant really afford to i would rather go without treats than iron!

GivePeasAChance · 07/04/2009 13:29

Doing the bins
Cleaning piss off the floor and toilet seat
Cleaning bits of spat-out toothpaste from inside the sink
cleaning the oven

Actually I could go on because apart from hanging out the washing on a sunny windy day, I can't think of any I actually enjoy

putting laundry away

ironing

poopscoop · 07/04/2009 13:29

ironing - so never do it

PuppyMonkey · 07/04/2009 13:30

Loading and emptying the dishwasher is the single dullest activity in the history of the world. I prefer doing the dishes by hand. Mostly.

mrsmaidamess · 07/04/2009 13:31

GivePeas, I second ALL of yours, especially the piss on the toilet one. Along with flushing the bloody thing, which no one except dh seems to be capable of in my family.

I LOATHE putting clean clothes away in rooms. I'd rather chuck them in the bin.

fattiemumma · 07/04/2009 13:32

putting laundry away. i dont mind the washing drying and even the ironing, its the putting it away that drives me banana's.
i hate it.

hence wee have piles of clothes all over the house that just need putting away.

alicecrail · 07/04/2009 13:32

The general monotonous of it all, but the laundry is one that i can never keep on top of, putting it away mostly

stealthsquiggle · 07/04/2009 13:35

OMG Thank Goodness for MN. I thought I was the only one - DH goes mental about it - he doesn't get why I will do the 'hard' bit (collecting, washing, drying, folding - even sorting) but then not put stuff away.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 07/04/2009 13:37

picking up toys.
doesn't help that i have an 8 month bump that hinders bending down.

putting laundry away

dishes. anything to do with dishes.

alicecrail · 07/04/2009 13:39

stealth last week i had a pile of clean folded clothes waist high in our bedroom that i hadn't got round to putting away

popsycal · 07/04/2009 13:39

putting clothes away

popsycal · 07/04/2009 13:40

if I ironed, it would be ironing. But I gave up on that long ago

hannahsaunt · 07/04/2009 13:45

Unpacking the supermarket shopping.

MakemineaGandT · 07/04/2009 13:51

cleaning bathrooms
cleaning kitchen sink
washing floors
tidying toys

Ironing I don't mind - I find it quite relaxing, and at least it's a clean job!

Hate ironing (but pay someone else to do it )

Loathe:
Putting clean laundry from airing cupboard into wherever it belongs
Putting new bin bags into the bin
Cleaning inside fridge
Putting shopping away in the fridge (don't mind the non-fridge stuff though)
Changing bedding

Picking up cat shit in the garden.

Taking the recycling.

If I did any ironing, I would hate it

I also hate all housework except like givepeasachance hanging out washing on a nice day.
My tip is though to engage the children I pay my boys 50p each to sort mountains of socks and underwear, my 9 year old is a dab hand at hoovering the stairs and my 4 year old loves a leather cleaning wipe in each hand to clean the sofa. I often arrange all this say an hour before we are going out somewhere nice as an incentive to get the job done. More computer time for me!!
