The kids are finally in bed. I'm tired and snapped at dd as she was getting in her pjs...feel a bit bad now
Dd and dh are off on an outing tomorrow to some boring old car show. Ds has another party in the afternoon so we're staying at home

FiveDollarShake · 16/11/2008 09:18

Morning Everyone

Well Done Bianca I think I'd have had a panic attack if Id had 60 children tramping through my house!

To Do-

Tidy/clean utility room. Its like a bombsite! We use the back door so its the first room that people see when they visit .

Ironing. I'm so behind that poor DD has nothing at all ironed for her to wear .

Make a roast chicken dinner! Yum!

Everyone have a lovely day.

TheMadHouse · 16/11/2008 09:42

Morning all

I have been up all night with a very naughty DS1

DH is still in bed (pushing it), DS2's nappy needs changing (poo), but he wont come near me.

I have the meat on for dinner
I have a loaf in the machine
Washer is on
DW is emptied
Boys and me are fed, dressed etc
Cat has been fed
TD is on
Changed DS2's bed

I have another load of washing to go in
Ironing
Veg to prep
Baking to do

I ALSO MUST COLLECT PRESCRIPTION TOMOORROW - last AD's just run out

Hi everyone.

I am dressed and my sink is shiny. House is a pit though and DH is working so I will try and do 5 min stints in between entertaining the DDs.

babyjjbaby · 16/11/2008 09:51

hi all i am not goignt o do anythign today i don't think just gonna try and keep everythign tidy rather than clean

ludaloo · 16/11/2008 10:24

Bore da pawb

Bianca I missed the cheering....hip hip hooray from me too

My house is a pit too Anne I've tried this morning to resume some sort of tidyness....done some washing, tidied the kitchen and have just started on the living room.

Other than general tidying I'm not doing a lot today.

I'm debating whether to go to Matalan and buy myself some boots....only trouble is, I'll have to convince DH that its a good idea

MyDingaling · 16/11/2008 10:33

Morning all.
I have caught up now so ready for tomorrow.
Done nothing so far but need to:
wash DD2 bedding
Wash our bedding
polish and hoover bedroom
wash breakfast dishes
Get showered and dressed
Bath both dds and get them dressed

Aim to get his done before going out for lunch

ludaloo · 16/11/2008 11:46

Well, tidying is mostly done!

I'm a bit bored now TBH......I have decided buying boots is not such a good plan really....had better save the money what with xmas looming.

I've put Mika on, tidied the whole of downstairs, hung washing around the place to dry, kids are playing very nicely and DD1 has gone to play next door. DH is still in bed (he was up very late working so I'll let him off)

TheMadHouse · 16/11/2008 11:51

Morning Luda and Anne

I am feeling really virtuos, I have 2 christmas cakes in, 2 dozen mince pies to bake, a steak pie, a loaf in the machine and chelsea bun dough proving.

I am going to feed the mini's next and then make somemore mincemeat as we are running out (DH adores it)

I have another load in the washer and all is well with the world.

DD2 is sleeping. DD1 is watcing Charlie & Lola. I have caught up on emails.

When DD2 wakes up I'm going to take them to a greasy spoon (not really but sounds good) for lunch.

Catching up on washing, DW is on. House downstairs is now tidy except for 3 or 4 hotspots. I'll do those by tonight and then focus on upstairs this week.

Jas · 16/11/2008 13:52

I'm still in my pjs

Hip, hip, HOORAY!! for Bianca from here, too

I've got two loads of washing on the line (in the rain) and one wet in the machine. I miss my t/d...

I bought marzipan and icing sugar for cake decorating yesterday, so may try and get that done. DD2 is wrapping christmas presents and I need to get dressed and start the roast.

Have a relaxing Sunday, all

DS2 is mince pie obsessed, we should have know really as this was the chap that sat and ate chrismas pudding BLW stylee at 6 months old - takes after my FIL I think

I have nearly finnished, apart from DS1 wants to make a strawberry shortcake. I have told him once the raisan buns are baked (re proofing) now then he can.

tortoise · 16/11/2008 15:09

TMH You are putting me to shame. I am getting hardly anything done again today.
I have just been to the shops and DD1 says her tummy hurts.
I need to sort out and put away the dry washing.
Still trying to get to the bottom of the washing mountain.

TheMadHouse · 16/11/2008 15:14

Aha - well washing moutian is what needs doing next - Tort remember DH is keeping the children entertained.

It has taken all afternoon, but they have put up a curtain rail in the conservatory and I have hung some muslins from it over the door area, as the sun is so low - it is the only bit we dont have blinds - typical
