and before you say anything yes I know it's 5.30 in hte morning, I've been up for 1 1/2hrs and despite saying I'm going to do my housework (particuarly that which should have been done last night so far I've done nothing )

So today I must:

Put the recycling bin out so that it gets collected this morning
Empty the dishwasher
Reload it and put it on
Do my washing
Get it dried
Iron (and put away)
Sort kitchen worktops
During the day, take photos of, and jot down details of stuff I need to list on ebay
Tonight - list stuff on ebay
Go to town to get a postal order to pay for DS1's school photos
Address Christening invites (and hopefully post them!)
Tidy lounge/diner - and hoover
Cook dinner
Bath the boys

ermm think that's it for now.......I'm hoping to get a chunk of it done before the boys get up........

Woohoo - nearly done having a coffee break and then going to do a quick zoot round in here, shouldn't take long - maybe 10-15 minutes (children depending).

Then I'll get upstairs and take some photos and jot notes for this stuff to go on ebay, then cook dinner, bathing them is just before bed, then after bed I can list stuff (and my housework will be already done bar a bit of tidying up from dinner)

I've done it!!!! I've done everything on my list

And it's only taken 15.5 hours, who says housework takes up too much of your day you've still got 8.5 hours for a good sleep (sorry I am a regular lurker!)

Sorry I didn't realise the thread had moved as I was watching it in threads I am on. If it moves again, can somebody please let me know on here so I can still join in?

Today I am desperate to get my house looking better. My back room (which isn't really used but you have to walk through it to get anywhere in the house as it is in the centre and all the doors come off it.) (yes my house has a very stupid layout)is such a bomb site. Seriously, you have to climb over stuff everytime you walk through it! I always put stuff that needs to go upstairs there, often heavy stuff, thinking DH can do it but he is useless and never takes things up with him so it has all gathered up (I usually have DD when I am going up and I am pregnant so trying to avoid heavy lifting.)

Anyway, want to sort that out.
Job list for today:

Hoover floors downstairs
Mop kitchen and bathroom floors
Take everything upstairs that needs to go
Try not to turn upstairs into a mess in the process!
Put one washing load in
Hang up washing
Email Usborne about book order.
Make dinner

Thats ok, didn't mean to sound rude then, was mainly just asking so I don't get confused again! I thought it was odd that nobody was posting all of a sudden! Never mind, I am here again now!

Off to go and put a wash on and make a start on t that awful back room!

I'm quite pleased actually as I'm mostly onto the "get stuff listed on ebay" stage as opposed to the "sort through the crap" bit
