well I can't work out the Mumsnet group on facebook, everyone has REAL!!! names instead of MN names! & I couldn't find a wall to write on! very confused!

Just about to wash pots after tea, went for cajun chicken wraps rather than salad. Very yummy!

Then s&s bathroom after my shower . . . swimming --pool- changing room soaking wet for a change normally don't make such as mess. I blame the headache n my oh popping in n out every 2 mins

Evening All

Bianca I am a facebook virgin - please can you add me!!!

Ruby DS1 asks me why he only has one Grandad and why his Grandpa Bob is dead , so I feel for you. I find it hardest when I want to tell my dad things about the boys

Well funeral was strange - Vicar couldnt even get the name right - which was awful, even though she came and apologised to my godfathers widow at the end. It was my maiden name and I love it and it really upsets me when people dont get it right.

Also as he was childless and part of an extreamly reclusive couple (never ever had a holiday), spent all their time either at home or walking their beloved dogs, there was very few people there.

I realised that there is only 3 of that generation of my family left and that the younger generation have already started to die - sorry for the morbidness

Anyway enough of the sadness

Boys are bathed and ready for bed
Washer is on
Dryer is on
I am going to tackle my warbrobe when they have gone to bed, as the little monsters were in it this morning

sagacious · 09/09/2008 18:51

ruby glad she's cheered up.

grouchyoscar · 09/09/2008 19:17

Woah Heavy Day here

Things not good with the cat. She is 15 to start with and she has a large tumour behind her ear which is causing repeated infections

She is fine in herself, she just has a manky ear

The options are

Operate to remove the growth inc her ear and let her live out her days

or put her to sleep.

As Ed was with me I couldn't have her put to sleep there and then and as the vet is prepared to do the surgery I thought I would give her a chance and pay for the op. I've had her since she was born so she deserves it really.

I explained that she might have to go to sleep forever as she might not get better. I think he understood in his Edlike way.

I suppose with pets, you do get this. She is only a moggy in the scheme of things.

EustaciaVye · 09/09/2008 19:35

Ruby

Grouchy - just a cat but part of the family nonetheless

TMH - funerals always sad however many people are there...

lucysmam · 09/09/2008 19:51

saga hmmm, still no luck. Am not very good at FB! Only really play the games on it.

Mad sounds like a pants day, hope not too sad!

grouchy poor cat, they become like part of the family don't they?!

Ruby hope your lo is all cheered up

I'm all chilled, should really be deciding on next weeks menu but can't be arsed to do a virtual wander around asda atm. Very pi$$ed off as well, oh took back a handbag he paid £30 for, for me today. second time it's broken after being fixed n the bloke had the cheek to say I carried too much in it! Since when has a purse, phone, lippy & diary bee too much for a handbag to handle??? I'm going back to see the bloke n make a public show of him on Saturday, see if I can scare away some of his customers . . .cheeky f&^%$r.

Anyways, off to do my shopping, oh joy!!

BiancaCastafiore · 09/09/2008 20:48

Ruby that is sad for dd3.

Dh actually managed to get home before the kids bedtime this evening so I rushed out and did a supermarket shop leaving him to do bedtime for a change

Have come home and am now trying to sort through facebook friends/MN pages looking for you all
I am now friends with Grouchy
TMH I think I have found you so have sent a friend request

Is it OK with everyone I know already if I suggest you as friends to any FLYers I find? And can others do the same for me please

BiancaCastafiore · 09/09/2008 20:50

grouchy sorry about the cat.

TheMadHouse · 09/09/2008 21:03

Groucy No such thing as only a moggy here.

My cat was one of two we had and we went to the ends of the earth to save the other who had an absess in his chest cavity and died two days before we moved back north. Our friend even made the special trip back with him in his casket (ashes)

So I am truley sorry - not looking forward to explaining that to the boys. Long live Smudge (who is 14)
