Ooooh Ruby that sounds painful! (dogs...nightmare!!)

I forgot to add, does anyone know where I can order some nice comfy cushions from (in brown or marooney colours) the sofa doesn't come with any, and really will need some!

EustaciaVye · 11/08/2008 14:13

Ruby - what a shock! Hope you're ok.

Lazy day here. meant the girls were hungry by 11.00 so we had an early lunch and now i'm starving again and a bit bored...

Evening all

DS2 has been really under the weather, if he is still like this tomorrow then GPs it is, even if they say it is just a virus. He is never demanding and such a jolly soul, it is so off to see him just laid in bed and he is so quiet - this is the baby that could talk at 6 months - well mimic and has been chatting to us from a year old

But my mum came round for an hour, so I did the bathroom and ensuite zone clean. Laundry bit of the kitchen - not so posh to have a utility is OK.
Hoovered upstairs
Hoovered downstirs
Wiped fingure marks off the stair wall (DS2 has started to walk down on his own holding on to the wall with his grubby mitts)

Washer is on
DW is loaded
I am doing my dinner

So I am hoping for a more restful night

Bewilderbeast · 11/08/2008 20:31

had a good day at the garden. DS was mainly well behaved with a few typical toddler tantrums. One woman came up to me in the loo to say how much she and her husband had enjoyed watching him eat properly with a knife and fork and what a lovely well behaved child he was. I thought that was lovely especially after the old bag behind us glared at ds all through his lunch.

done

kitchen cleaned (again)
washing up done
floor swept]

scald marks going down, still a bit red and sore and a few blisters but nowhere near as bad as it was earlier. Only problem is the worst bit is right under my waste band

God I love hairy biker Si

had a productive day today, kitchen almost finished, just odd little bits to finish off like my shelves back up and carpet gripper thingy to put back now tiles are done. have also done bathroom mission, no utility so cleared out under sink cupboard instead & found lots of big spiders as usual!

also cleared stairs finally except for the bits to go up wuth me tonight and tidied all the toys away properly rather than throwing in general direction of toy box so the lid goes on and living room looks a bit more of a grown up area.

Lo has been lovely apart from a whinge at me this afternoon when i forgot all about it being lunch time cos i had my head stuck under the sink!

tortoise · 11/08/2008 22:30

Hello.
Been a bit of a pants day here.
We walked to shops for bread etc this morn then after lunch i felt really sleepy so i led down on the sofa for an hour and dozed.
DC had a great time playing PS2 all afternoon.

In the meantime thw house is a pig sty and i am just too tired all the time to do much. Maybe i can do more tomorrow.

Really fed up with crap weather too. But we are going to Crealy park Thursday so that is something to look forward to. Just need to phone the bus company to find out bus times from Exeter station (anyone know if the bus station is near the train station?)

Hope everyone else is ok.

TMH Hope DC are feeling better soon.
RowingBoat I will start the running in Sept. Can't do it with all the kids home.
RR That sounds painful. i love bike riding too. Can't wait until DD's are old enough to come on rides. Both ride with out stabilisers so it shouldn't be long.
LML Lush sofa. Look forward to finished pics.

TheMadHouse · 11/08/2008 23:11
