What name labels for children's stuff?

I didn't know where to post this, but thought that if I carry losing the kids' stuff, I wouldn't be a good housekeeper

What companies have you used? Did the labels really remained on the uniforms after many washings? Was it good value for money?
Thanks!

I've used this company and found their labels excellent. Esp love the shoe labels!

I got my latest iron on labels from mynamelabel - have only used 1 so far as I had just enough from my last ones (from easy2name) for the rest of the stuff. Seems ok so far

I use cash's labels and have always found them to be reliable. I also have only ever used my surname and not first names, that way it doesn't matter which kid you use them for. Of course that only works if you have an unusual surname (which I do).

I use the stick on ones and think they are fab. the items I labelled a year ago are still going strong. And I use the same ones for clothes as I do for drinks bottles, lunch boxes etc. They hold up with use in washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

And they can be removed when they are passed down to next child.

I find cheapest ones on ebay virtually as good as the much more expensive ones like Stickins. I do like a sewn in nametape, but as a victim veteran of the 'Smith Erin' trick, I push the boat out and spend an extra £2.50 so that each child has their name the right way round!

If your children have short names you can even get away with 'Tom Smith Erin Smith' sometimes.
