Hi all

Mr Next delivery man has just dropped off the dc's summer wardrobe (I buy now as I use the 2 months of not paying community charge IYSWIM..) dd is currently knee deep in cotton dresses and sparkly shoes

We're off out in a moment (to the dr's I get my cholesterol level results)so she's wearing vest/leggings/cotton summer frock and a big jumper ...

Back with a list after lunch
Have a good one

Ludaloo · 18/03/2008 09:28

Back from the school run. Its sunny but still very cold!

Lots to do today, house to sort and tidy, errands to run and supper to think about.
Cheques to bank and guinea pig supplies to buy.

Must get on...if I can do the house this morning before picking DD2 up I'm half way there.

EHM · 18/03/2008 09:28

dylsmum1998 · 18/03/2008 10:27

morning everyone
just popped on while eating my breakfast. have only managed to get everyone up and dressed this morning.
think dd is feeling better but weak still iykwim
she asked to get down and walk on way home from school this morning. which is a big improvement as she's barely been chatting past couple o days. so i let her down and she managed a few wobbly steps before asking to bw picked up. not suprising really as she hasnt been able to keep anything down in iver a week, and having the viral infection the week before she barely ate anything that week. at least there signs she's getting better at last - hopefully.
she's asleep on the sofa at the moment so gonna go do some tidying beffore she wakes up

Ludaloo · 18/03/2008 10:34

Morning

I've been to work and done a supermarket shop - bought almost all the Easter eggs we needed so it was an expensive shop this week!

IC thanks for the thread - I like the title!
Luda you're doing well. The weather is quite nice here too - cold but dry at least.
Saga good idea re summer clothes - I might convince dh that's what we should do too - I like getting the summer wardrobes sorted
Lmc good to see you
EHM hello, hope soft play was fun
Dame hope you're OK, rest up x
TMH hope you had a good morning
Dyls glad to hear dd is getting better
BWB hello

~put away laundry
~hoover everywhere
~dust everywhere
~s&s everywhere

Ds is going to play with a friend after school and dd has gym club so I don't need to go out again till 4ish.
Feeling very tired and not quite right so need to find some energy from somewhere.
Panic attacks are already in full swing about the blasted wedding this coming weekend

Bettr go and unpack the shopping....

Ludaloo · 18/03/2008 11:46

Hi Bianca

Take deep breaths...I am sure the wedding will go ok
Dh has been talking about going to visit SIL Thursday evening...comming back Saturday...he has someone comming to pick up a parts washer early next week so we need to get back.
It looks like we might miss you this time

Well I managed to finish my list. Bathroom all S&Swiped now

Just another couple of loads of washing to do.

Going to grab some lunch, then have to go into town, so see you all in a while

Minkus · 18/03/2008 11:54

Hello everyone

Dylsmum, glad that dd is starting to perk up a little. 2 weeks without much to eat is a long time for a little one poor thing.

Saga we use the two months of no council tax to pay off the overdraft we've accumulated the rest of the year (well some of it anyway )- would much rather be buying nice things for ds though what a good idea.

Like you Lmccrean I have a huge pile of outgrown things from ds's wardrobe, but I'm not sure whether the baby I'm cooking at the moment is a boy or girl and so I'm loathe to get rid of them. Not sure whether to ebay a load and just keep favourites or save the lot so I don't have to shell out again in a few years if it is a boy- what do you ladies think?

Are you around babyjjbaby? Not seen you on here for a while, maybe I've missed you're posts, hope all is ok.

Well I think I have earned a Good Girl sticker again today . So far:

Feed 3 humans and 1 cat done
DS and I washed dressed done
ds to nursery done
S&S bathroom done
Shine sink done
Put dw on done
Load of washing in done, and another load in
Hang out washing done
Strip beds done
Wash bedding done
Dust downstairs done
Hoover throughout downstairs done
Wipe sofas down done
Yesterdays mission in bathroom done
Todays mission in bathroom done- did it yesterday as part of big clean so no need today
Tidy playroom done

I think I'm starting to get the hang of the morning routine thing. Only problem is that I find I need to get ds to nursery earlier rather than later to stand a chance of not slobbing around- and now I feel guilty that he is there when I could be spending time with him. When I am at work he goes 4 days a week, when the baby arrives it will be only 2 but as I've been so poorly he's still booked in for 4 at the mo. I tend to take him on 3 rather than 4 though and thats why I've been taking him in later too- so I get more time with him. Everyone tells you how much you will love your children before they arrive but never once did anyone mention the guilt . I always feel like I'm either doing something I should be or not doing something I should.

Sorry for self indulgent moan just needed to let that out!

Off to tidy our room in a bit (it's properly revolting.) Have managed to get downstairs & bathroom in some sort of order thanks to this thread but bedrooms are terrible.

BiancaCastafiore · 18/03/2008 11:55

thta's a shame Luda, never mind though, we'll try to see you again soon x
I keep crying and getting worked up - don't want to let dh down and have a bad journey on Saturday

~unpack shopping done
~laundry x2 1st load in
~put away laundry
~hoover everywhere living room done
~dust everywhere living room done
~s&s everywhere

Better get back to it...

dylsmum1998 · 18/03/2008 11:56

hi bianca
easier said than done, i know, but try and relax about the wedding I'm sure it will all go fine.

today i have managed to organise the airing cupboard
s&s the bathroom
wash the skirting boards in bathroom
wash the bathroom floor
strip and re made ds bed
put all wet washing on the clothes horses
washed up
made an amazing discovery- i have no ironing today! very impressed with that one

still to do;
hoover
dry and put away breakfast dishes
have lunch
find somewhere to hang ds sheets to dry when they come out of washer

damewashalot · 18/03/2008 11:59

Back

Hope poorly ones are getting better.
Bianca is it something about the wedding that is worrying you or are you prone to panic attacks? big hugs either way and agree breathing is good

Finished morning routine, boys bedding in to wash and don't need to think about tea as made it yesterday at me being organised. Also cleaned potty for ds3 to start having a try, not planning on training but he is telling me when wet or going to poo so thought best get it out.

I am so thought Iknow I'll wash my dyson filter, haven't done it since I had this one (could be 2 yrs, am rubbish) Can't finnd it no idea were it is or how to get it out, is in different place to the old one it seems.

Need some lunch now, have midwife this pm and a meeting this evening so might not get a lot done but at least downstairs is not a tip still doing quite well for it to last this long, ust tneed to keep it up and do the rest.

sagacious · 18/03/2008 12:01

Cooo minkus very impressive done list !
bianca its never as bad as you think it will be .. repeat .. this soon will pass x 1000
Sorry for major lack of personals .. waves to all

Back from dr's, glucose and BP all normal, cholesterol slightly high (5.4) so will have to lay off the cakes and exercise more double

DD just having lunch then I'll take her to nursery and attempt to sort the house out.

I will
I will
I will

damewashalot · 18/03/2008 12:02

So slow, crossed posts x lots.

More hugs and at no ironing, do you want mine?

sagacious · 18/03/2008 12:04

dylsmum No ironing ?????
dame I have had my dyson for over a year I have no idea where the filter is .. do the later models still have them?

Madwelshwoman · 18/03/2008 12:05

Hello ladies!!

Well just come back from a family learning session at the school with ds but house is tidy upon return. Quite proud that because I managed an evening routine for the first time in ages yesterday that by 8am I had...

Dressed washed and fed 3 kids, me, 2 cats and a dog
Brekkie dishes washed up
Beds made
Kitchen clear
All ready to leave the house with all appropriate bits and bobs and no yelling or gnashing of teeth!!!!

Quite proud and has given me the incentive to try and keep it up.

Anyway left to do:

Swim lessons
What's for dinner? (no idea)
take littlie to school
shampoo inside of car (minging minging minging)
spot of genital topiary (dreaded smear test tomorrow)

Back later to update!
