We are in the sticks somewhat, but I think we are getting Tesco deliverys soon. I do not mind being where we are TBH. We lived in Reading for the last 13 years, so being back in the north east would be like the sticks anyway.

DS1 starts part time (afternoon) nursery in March (day after his 3rd Bday), so that would make things easier and I could always walk him there with DS2 in the buggy

TheMadHouse · 04/02/2008 19:30

Ooh I do like being called young - your profile has you at 36.

Re boobs - not sure I am going to have a good chat with the plastic surgeon, as due to age it would mean more than one op and I would have to have my implants changed at least a couple of times during my lifetime. But I would def reduce I am 36 H

Only a select few surgeons doing that and massive waiting list. Most use muscle and stuff from shoulder.

This is for two boobs, not one, so they would recomend inplants. I am going to look at all my options. I can ask to be referred to antother one if I am not happy with the first one I see.

TheMadHouse · 04/02/2008 19:37

He he he.

The only bit if the boob thing really that I find odd is that they need to remove your nips, so you can have them tatood on and they also give you stick on ones for the right look

As it would be a profolactic mastectomy I would have to have them removed as there would still be a risk in having them left/ No breast tissue = no risk.

Dont worry - it is nice to taqlk to someone who is not visably cringing IFYKWIM or that I care if they are making judgement calls

I've just checked my profile and discovered I'm still 37 I'd assumed it updates automatically like it does for the children.

Do you have helpful friends /neighbours TMH? If you do then accept all offers of help. People can surprise you with their kindness.

DP has almost finished shortening the wardrobe for dd1, in addition to putting in boards for the bathroom floor

tortoise · 04/02/2008 20:01

oooh and i am still 28 on mine! Good i'm not 30 for another year!!

tibni · 04/02/2008 20:04

Hi,

I'm more flapping than flying right now.

TMH just wanted to wish you well.

TheMadHouse · 04/02/2008 20:06

I have to say DH is being a real star over all this. He told me he loves me with or without boobs and that He will just get them stuffed and mounted for his me time - only joking.

I recen that the survery etc will all take some organising anyway and guess what - not covered via my private health ins.

I told them that it would save them thousands - think I am going to write to them

tortoise · 04/02/2008 20:11

What a lovely DH you have.

Makes you wonder why you pay out for private insurance doesnt it??

It sounds like you have a lovely husband TMH. It must be a shock for you all but if this means you get to be around to see your kids get old then has to be good thing!

Breast reconstructions sounds good but I'm amazed you can get nipples tattoed on! Makes sense but seems surreal.

When do you have your next appointment to discuss your options?

EHM · 04/02/2008 22:15

wow sorry to jump in at the end of convo tattoed nips its amazing what they can do.you sound very postive TMH. If I was closer I would help out with the boys. Maybe I'll have to stay with my parents for a spell so I could help out.

EHM · 04/02/2008 22:16

ps Your dh sounds wonderful

TheMadHouse · 04/02/2008 23:15

He is and always has been wonderful. I am loved up - he is my first and only plaything

I am feeling a lot more positive now thanks plus amazing news on the baby L front.

He has regained some movement and taken a bottle. Better still he has made a sound. Hip hip horay.

They have said if he continues in this vein he could be home on Wednesday.

All this has happened since last night. from 10ml at 2am monday morning to 70ml at 6pm today.

I cried I was so happy - now its accomadation, as they were at Uni in wakefeild or somewhere, so partner is going back to colleage and neice is staying at Bros, but only three bedrooms and Bro and SIL, Newphew (15) and neice (2) it is going to be crowded.
