That's it really. I think it's a bacteria maybe ?
On the floor of the shower there's a build up
Hard water area.
It's bit grim tbh
Had covid so slipped behind with usual super cleanliness.
Any tips welcomed

Agreed it's mould. We had a real damp problem in our old bathroom and it'd always start off orange on the grout before turning black. Viakal is brilliant, with a lot of elbow grease.

Could it be iron from the water sticking to the limescale?

We have one of those cheap shower filters from Amazon attached to the hose otherwise cillit bang grime and lime,

Sonic cleaner (like an electric toothbrush) and hg grout cleaner. It’s not hard or soft water it’s shampoo and soap, its probably not above where you would fling shampoo when washing your hair vigorously!

I don't remember this being a "thing" before about 5/6 years ago. I have had the same tiles for 10 years and never had this issue until the last few years. I thought it was my summer body tanning moisturiser! Anyone else thinking it seems to be a recent problem?
