Good Morning

Hope me being 1st on means Luda is snoozing away !

OP posts:
ludaloo · 09/11/2007 15:13

Thankyou neverenough

(will it work straight away? ... the sleeping bit I mean ... I expect the migraines won't stop straight away will they)

Sorry....

Neverenough · 09/11/2007 15:15

No problem
No,it isn't a sleeping pill as such, though the wine will help!
The more migraines you have, the sooner you will notice it working, usually I review a patient in a month and by then it has definitely worked, so in your case, you should notice in a week I would say.

Neverenough · 09/11/2007 15:15

...roughly!

ludaloo · 09/11/2007 15:20

Ah....he has given me 2 months worth, but they have been every other day for the last week, so I will probably notice quite quick won't I. He was under the impression my sleepnessness was linked, so I am hoping once I take the tablet it will make my brain patterns settle, so I can sleep!
( I may also have to have one extra glass just to make sure! )

Anyway...I'd better get off and get DD1...

Thank you neverenough

(you do realise, now I know, I won't be able to resist bugging you!...although I will try ultra hard )

xx

Grouchyoscar · 09/11/2007 15:20

Well I was right. I am still jobless I could have really done with that job as it was 20 hrs per week in school hours only but, never mind. The post went to a candidate with previous school office experience, they said they needed someone who didn't need training...WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK IN THE 1st PLACE? ho hum, as you say, put it down to experience.

better dig the job paper out

Neverenough · 09/11/2007 15:20

Right, the surgery is now closed!
Off to sort dinner, get DD3 and get to that pedicure!

Neverenough · 09/11/2007 15:23

You're welcome Luda and never mind Grouchy something else will come up.
Have a nice Friday eveing all

ludaloo · 09/11/2007 15:23

Oh GO {HUGS} for you....I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason...you'll find something WAAAAYYY better soon I am sure

(just don't give up...its just around the corner )

FieryGlassSlipper · 09/11/2007 15:37

Sorry Grouchy. Put it down to experience.

Nab3 - My Dd watches tv, or helps me dust with a baby wipe , or I try and whizz around the kitchen while they eat lunch. The thing about flylady is that everything is broken down into small steps I fit it in around looking after/playing with DDs. The only thing I struggle with is hoovering and making the beds so I tend to do those first thing before DH goes to work or at the weekends

EHM · 09/11/2007 15:52

quick hello to all.sorry haven't read remainder of yesterdays or todays thread. Hope everybody & their lo are well? My black cat has taken to sleeping on the keyboard of the lap top. I am dicing with death or the loss of a hand if I try & move her.

Feeling rubbish throat very sore, dr gave me antibiotics yesterday. Thumping headache & sneezing like a good one.

I will try & catch up later..x.x

Grouchyoscar · 09/11/2007 15:56

Awwh EHM {{Hugs}} and honey and hot lemon for you

tortoise · 09/11/2007 17:27

Thanks for that SMS have posted on thread. I do still desperatly need a WM. As soon as mine starts to spin it jumps out from under the worktop and across the floor as far as the pipes will let it! Quite funny to watch but a pain because i have to stand and hold it until the spin stops!
And thanks for offers of help with courier cost. Will have to look into it.

tortoise · 09/11/2007 17:28

((( hugs ))) EHM Hope you feel better soon.

tortoise · 09/11/2007 17:29

Grrr! Forgot to add (((( Hugs ))) for GO too. It was obviously not the job for you. A better one is round the corner waiting for you.

BiancaCastafiore · 09/11/2007 17:48

OMG! This thread is sooo long today! There's no way I can read it all just now so hope I've got the gist of it after my skim through - the kids are in the bath so I've snuck across the landing to have a quick peek at MN...

Hope everyone is well

for Grouchy I agree with the others, something betetr will come up and you'll be pleased this one passed you by

Tort I'd chip in postage too...

Luda yay! to no more headaches

EHM ((hugs)) and lemsip to you x

Neverenough Shame I missed todays surgery ...will think of medical questions ready for next time

SMS, simply ruby (enjoy your eve out ) FGS gibberish Hello to you all, sorry if I've missed anyone

Work was fine this morning - I called back after collecting ds for a little while too. Didn't manage to get everything finished but hopefully left the staff able to cope

I did a very brief supermarket shop to tide us over the weekend so will have to go back on Sunday/Monday and shop properly.

No other FLYing done what-so-ever, even the beds are still not made

TheMadHouse · 09/11/2007 18:46

wow so many messages, so little time. Not much flying done today, but I am no longer bottle blond, have gone back to my brunette - DH loves it, DS1 told me I look like DS2 and have lovley hair and stroked it. Mum hates it - told me I look washed out (I am very pale) and that I now need to wear make up and fake tan - FFS

FieryGlassSlipper · 09/11/2007 18:48

I'm sure it looks lovely. Ignore your mother

tortoise · 09/11/2007 19:43

just for a little longer

SlightlyMadStuffing · 09/11/2007 20:41

for GO

*tortoise you and your family are lovely. Not at all what I expected

I thought I was going to have to take DD3 to walk in at tea time as she was sooooo chesty. She was agitated though as she wanted TLC and I was trying to serve tea. She seemed better after she had calmed down.

Anyway guys - after we were talking about it earlier in teh week there is an isketch room open

tortoise · 09/11/2007 21:08

Thanks SMS. What did you expect?
Isketch sounds like a good idea!

SlightlyMadStuffing · 09/11/2007 21:14

I dunno....you know what it is like ou get a mental image of someone...wrinkly skin, hard leathery shell with a patchwork pattern, nibbling on a leave??

I expected you to be a bit more Jaded, what with being a single mother of 4 children???

Was that Haven? What did you think?

tortoise · 09/11/2007 21:15

pmsl!
Yes it was Haven. We had a fantastic time. Caravan was great. Kids loved the entertainment. Can't wait to go again one day.

SlightlyMadStuffing · 09/11/2007 21:25

We all love Haven. The entertainment is great. 65yr old step father loves it too.

Which one did you go to?

tortoise · 09/11/2007 21:31

We went to Weymouth bay. All done through the Sun newspaper tokens.
Anyone isketching? I need to step away from MN!

SlightlyMadStuffing · 09/11/2007 21:34

I will ocme and isketch in a mo. Have to go and shine my sink and het PJs on ....

We do all our Haven through Tesco clubcard - but we are going to France next year. I think it will be great but I will miss polly & naughty
