Would you wash a duvet?

It's king size but our thin 4.5 tog one. We have a normal washing machine that it would be pretty well stuffed in.

What do you think?

If you have space for it, to wash and dry. Duvets are a pain and take ages to dry IME. For the last few years I've taken mine to the launderette and paid for a service wash. Best £20 I ever spend - duvets and pillows come back lovely smelling, dry and clean. Better than when I do it!

We've had our summer and winter duvets for about 8 years and just get them washed at the laundrette annually. They always come out beautifully!
