Rolls Royce of dishwashers please?

Please advise what is the Rolls Royce of dishwashers. I don’t mind spending a little extra. I want a dishwasher where

  • The holes in the spray arms don’t get constantly blocked with food.
  • I don’t have to wash the dishes by hand before putting them in the dishwasher (what’s the point in having a dishwasher in that case).
  • Dishes and glasses come out sparkly clean years after I have bought the product.

Please nobody recommend Kenwood or Neff.

Additionally, I don’t want to order from Know How or have anything to do with them going forward. I don’t want them making eight visits to install the appliance - and later I don’t want them making ten more visits to fix it before declaring they can’t fix it because it would cost them too much. If it isn’t too much to ask, I want someone to install the appliance in one visit in my integrated kitchen and then I want a care plan which covers everything forever going forward.

Thanks.

Tbh if you go for a Meile it'll have a 5 or 10 year guarantee with the manufacturer and you won't need to use it as they rarely break down.

I have a 20 year old Meile washing machine that's as good as the day it was bought and not broken down once. If I don't get another 10 years out of it I'll be disappointedGrin

You do know this isn't google?

Rude Hmm

Just checked and dishwashers have a 2 year guarantee.

I'd get it from John Lewis.

Yes I know this isn’t Google. But I also know that certain companies pay Google vast sums of money to appear high up in their searches.

Companies like Know How.

Which is why I thought I’d ask a human, if you don’t mind.

I buy from John Lewis. We have a very good independent shop near us who I also use so maybe look to see if one near you?

In the ideal world I’d like to be able to buy it from Miele themselves and then have them fix it down the line so I never have to deal with middle men again.

No need. Buy it from John Lewis (their customer service used to be top notch, though it's become a little hot-and-mood in recent years) and take out an extended warranty with Miele themselves.

Unfortunately buying direct from Miele is often more expensive than buying from John Lewis. But do your research.

Which Magazine is very good on reliability surveys of white goods.
