Day 2

I have never worn shoes in the house, nor do I wear makeup, but the general idea of getting ready for the day before you go donstairs is a good one (says Jas hoping no one can see her in her pjs)

I love that shiny sink smile.

Everyone ho is worried about going too slow, don't. It soon builds up, and this ay you make it part of your daily routine, rather than just cleaning everything in a mad frenzy, and then leaving it all again for ages.

I think I'm going to have to do most of my flying in the evenings this week [desperately trying not to feel inadequate already] though I was dressed & out the door with DD & DS for Drs appt by 9.45.
Sink now shiny & dishwasher emptied/refilled

harleyd · 28/08/2007 11:24

tjacksonpfc · 28/08/2007 11:59

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/08/2007 12:25

Sink still shiny even after we've all eaten lunch. I've also felt the need to declutter the kitchen worktps to compliment my re-found shininess

BigBearistheBigBear · 28/08/2007 14:12

my sink is sooo shiny.

if only i knew how to upload pics of it to my profile.

blossomsmine · 28/08/2007 14:21

My white sink is clean but not shiney
What do we do tomorrow then if today we just have to do the sink?? I have done some of my usual daily stuff aswell though!!

BigBearistheBigBear · 28/08/2007 14:38

blossomsmine, have you got dressed?! we're supposed to get dressed today as well. it's all too much!!!

alycat · 28/08/2007 14:56

bigbear, I was thinking this last night when my sink looked ace.

Off to clean kids bathroom, sink still shiny though wearing slippers!

alycat · 28/08/2007 14:58

OK can anyone tell me where to find the instructions to 'swish and swipe'

ludaloo · 28/08/2007 15:00

My sink is still shiny (ish) the plug hole has lost the stainless steel so that bit won't shine. I can't keep it dry either as the tap has a continous drip...which needs fixing.
I then decided to shine the metal strips on the fridge too!

harleyd · 28/08/2007 15:02

i was going to clean my over, but im scared
too much too soon?

harleyd · 28/08/2007 15:02

oven.

ludaloo · 28/08/2007 15:04

hmmm....I can't find the swish and swipe instructions either...

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/08/2007 15:05

ok here is how to shine your sink

harleyd - dont clean your oven yet! You'll burn out before you've got going...

ludaloo · 28/08/2007 15:06

My oven needs doing too....it is burning everytime I cook. I have to put the extractor fan on and open a window

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/08/2007 15:06

and here is how to swish and swipe

ludaloo · 28/08/2007 15:07

I started to FLY this time last year, and e all put pics of our shiny sinks (and other decluttered rooms) up to be admired. You have to show us before pictures, too though)
