I don't want to cause a riot, but where has all the zoflora gone?

Asda- no zoflora
Sainsbury- no zoflora
Waitrose- no zoflora
Now I don't go mad with the stuff, but supplies are getting low in the agogo household (2 half full bottles of peach paradise) and I would quite like a cinnamon one or something, but would settle for a pink grapefruit.
But no nothing, nada, zilch Shock

My local Home Bargains usually have it but they've made a big thing of this Hinch fad with an aisle end display of cleaning products complete with a light box saying Hinch Army and there's no Zoflora there or on the normal shelf.

NotAnotherUserName5 · 26/11/2018 22:12

I’m in a Facebook group, and people post photos of themselves literally clearing the shelves of zoflora. 🙄

BillyAndTheSillies · 26/11/2018 22:14

Had the same rant a few weeks ago. Pound shop shelves were empty of zoflora, viakal and microfibre cloths.
Tesco - no zoflora
Wilkos - no zoflora.
Amazingly, my local chemist has a wall full of the stuff which I happened to stumble upon.
The hinch army's obsession with stockpiling the stuff is really strange. And don't get me started on the bloody personalised spray bottles!!!

TimeToRevolutionize · 27/11/2018 11:39

She fucking pisses me off lol. All she does is advertise stuff so she can make money out of it! Seriously people.... they need help! £20 for a fucking Minky is actually absurd.

TimeToRevolutionize · 27/11/2018 11:41

As for Zoflora, I managed to get mine in Body Care! £4 for the big bottle. Wilko also sell them. Lasts me ages as I only use it down the sinks when it smells whiffy. I usually just use antibacterial wipes and Dettol spray to clean my kitchen and bathroom.

mrsoutnumbered · 27/11/2018 13:37

😂😂😂

I read somewhere that the Zoflora factory has had to double its production!!!

It's insane.

Zoflora has its uses but my god not for spraying onto plastic flowers.

CallMeRachel · 27/11/2018 13:41

You can thank greedy eBayers for the shortage.

Hinch followers are buying loads in bulk to sell on eBay for ridiculous prices.

IggyAce · 27/11/2018 13:48

I noticed the shortage about a month ago and then learned about hinch. I’ve stock piled a couple of bottles but still looking for a cranberry and orange.

mrsoutnumbered · 27/11/2018 14:10

Oh my gosh, if you search Zoflora hashtags on Instagram there are some corkers. Zoflora for:

Reed diffusers
Car air fresheners
Soaking Hoover filters
Make up brushes

To name a few. But my personal favourite is what appears to be a pan of diluted Zoflora heating up on a cooker.

FestiveForestieraNoel · 27/11/2018 14:13

I thought it was Brexit hoarding. I like Mrs Hinch Smile

HouseworkIsASin10 · 27/11/2018 14:15

I found a bottle in the cupboard, had no clue. Said to DH, what on earth is that? He said he's always used it doing the floors. I had noticed a nice smell last time he did them, just never thought to ask what it was.

AnnieOH1 · 27/11/2018 14:16

The factory is working at absolute full speed. I'm glad for them but fear at the same time if this carries on for too long, all the sensible Zoflora users will find a new product and not go back when the inevitable happens.

Mrs Hunch from what I understand was just a small blog that took off, however certain registrations were made prior to her first post. Make of that what you will.

I will say one thing though, wet and dry vacuums sometimes need a good bath. I recall doing that over 15 years ago!

EdWinchester · 27/11/2018 14:16

I initially thought Mrs Hinch was about decor which I thought strange. Her house is very naff uninspiring, why has she so many followers?

Then I watched her stories. OMG the woman is obsessed with cleaning and smelly things. I wonder if her house reeks of artificial, cloying scents? She puts tumble dryer sheets in all of her cushions and pillows. Once a week! Does she do anything but clean and then clean again? Imagine living with her!

I am part fascinated/part incredulous.

BurningTheToast · 27/11/2018 14:17

I've just been and looked at Mrs Hinch on Instagram for the first time.

Spraying diluted Zoflora on fake flowers.

Words fail me.

ToastedSandwichObsession · 27/11/2018 14:20

That Hinch army don't appear to be 'ahem' particularly bright don't care if I get shot down in flames The Hinch hauls are just mind boggling. I've used Zoflora for a few years now but have never felt the need to have a hundred weight of the stuff making my kitchen more flammable than a petrol station Grin

FestiveForestieraNoel · 27/11/2018 14:21

I'm Flylady and Dettol myself

MyKingdomForBrie · 27/11/2018 14:23

My post office stocks loads. I also don't get the hinch thing, I couldn't see any advice just pics of her interiors! Not sorry though if the advice involves bathing the Hoover..

BurningTheToast · 27/11/2018 14:28

Her instagram is just images of her house, but you need to watch the IG Stories - so many, many stories.

Side note: it seems her spaniel (very cute) has his own bedroom. For someone so keen on cleaning that seems very unhygenic, but then my dog sleeps downstairs in the hall/kitchen and he probably thinks that I'm completely cruel and heartless. I'd have to get the Zoflora out with a vengeance if I let our mutt on the furniture.

MyKingdomForBrie · 27/11/2018 14:41

Ohhh I see @burningthetoast - I'll have a nose now, thanks!

Littlechocola · 27/11/2018 15:21

I quite enjoy her stories just because she is so strange. It’s like watching an odd wildlife programme where her behaviour is so bizarre! I like her (don’t tell anyone).

greatbigwho · 27/11/2018 17:09

I saw one post where a police officer was saying her stab vest was whiffy and people were suggesting spraying it with Zoflora to make it small better.

Thankfully someone pointed out it was flammable and maybe not the best idea…

(One comment was "but it evaporates, so it'll be fine!!!")

TimeToRevolutionize · 27/11/2018 17:41

Just saw her stories and oh my goodness so many "swipe up"! Then she posted a story saying Shark Black Friday sales will end tomorrow (I think) and put swipe up! No mention whether she gets paid so I messaged her saying does she get paid for it? Just an honest straightforward question. She still should put in her stories it is an ad/affiliated link! She must be making a mint.

Lilmisskittykat · 27/11/2018 19:38

Urgh my colleague in work is obsessed after another mentioned her daughter is hinch obsessed... now all she talks about is putting her sink to bed and zoflora. And going and buying zoflora... loads of the bloody stuff 🙄

I didn't wonder why she was enthused about a shark a week or so ago but that makes sense if she is promoting them ...

I just think great who doesn't want a clean house but seriously get a real hobby 😂

nipersvest · 30/11/2018 00:05

I have come to the conclusion this week that as far as cleaning goes, Mrs Hinch is nowt but fluff. We've just had our house rewired and the best way to get access was to remove most of the downstairs ceilings. I am now living in a building site that has walls with channeling out all over them and plasterboard dust absolutely everywhere. I suspect spraying it with 'my favourite diluted zoflora' is not going to help. Nor will a minkeh or a shark. I need cleaning on an industrial scale. I would try and 'put my sink to bed for the night' but there's a bucket in it full of dried out left over plaster.

readyplayer · 30/11/2018 18:27

Ocado! They have a few different scents, almost always in stock.

I'm strangely hooked on Mrs Hinch's feed. It's hypnotic, in a really mysterious way. I agree wholeheartedly that the 'army' may not be the brightest sparks. Also gifts / ads and affiliates left, right and centre. Some declared, some not.

If you want a laugh, search 'minky cloth' on eBay. The PRICES they go for. Fucking mind boggling.
