Hate our Cordless Dyson

So we've finally decided that we don't like the cordless Dyson. It doesn't seem powerful or sucky enough. We also cant vacuum the whole house in one go. We clean filter etc regularly too.

Has anyone switched from the Dyson to another make & found it better?

We actually don't mind if it's not cordless as we will keep the Dyson for the stairs & cars etc.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Banana I don't usually walk barefoot in my house, esp. downstairs, too many cold tiles and the rugs are generally a bit hairy (I must admit we don't hoover every day Blush.

Are you sorted OP? I got one of those and thought it was FABULOUS for about 3 days. Now I HATE it - it runs out of suck ages before I run out of floor and hasn't enough power to last the whole house. But the worst thing is I end up filthy whenever I empty it. Or having to wash the filter and wait for it to dry before I can finish the hoovering.

Miele Cat and Dog. Brilliant hoover!!! It runs out of suck when the bag is full - like the dyson did. But it's a huge bag and I don;t end up covered in hoover dust when I change it. It cost a fortune - well worth it.

notnow That's soooo funny it's exactly how I feel about the bloody cordless dyson nd the roomba, I have to wear a shower cap when I empty them (my hair is dry I don't wash it every day!)

We're buying a Cat and Dog Miele hooray!!!! Common sense has reigned in our house!!!!
