Without it ending up mangled?

hehehe

will be watching this with interest

i just end up with a ball of sheet, whichever way i try

expatinscotland · 20/02/2007 21:16

You don't.

Just ball it up and stick it in the cupboard.

purpleturtle · 20/02/2007 21:16

Fold?

I find if you shove it in a drawer it doesn't matter if it's folded or not.

kittypants · 20/02/2007 21:16

you dont you screw it up in ball and hide it.

Spidermama · 20/02/2007 21:16

I do that too kitty.

kittypants · 20/02/2007 21:17
Grin

Good to know I'm not alone in believing this is one of life's unsolved mysteries!

I have a method but its difficult to explain -I sort of fold it into quarters so all the corners are together and then hook all the corners over my fist IYSWIM.

You can then fold in the sides to make a neater shape and then fold to fit in the cupboard.

Does that make me the new Anthea then ?

foxtrot · 20/02/2007 21:19

I can do it [smug emoticon] coutesy of Martha Stewart.

KTeePee · 20/02/2007 21:19

I think Anthea did cover this actually - or someone has recently in any case. Didn't look any better at the end though...

MrsBadger · 20/02/2007 21:19

You need America's answer to Anthea Turner - Martha Stewart .

Othersideofthechannel · 20/02/2007 21:20

"Just ball it up and stick it in the cupboard"

So good to know I'm not alone

Ceolas · 20/02/2007 21:20

We need diagrams, betty.

Scuttles off to google Martha's method...

OP posts:
fannyannie · 20/02/2007 21:20

this is how you do it

Ceolas · 20/02/2007 21:20

Oh MrsB you beat me to it!

OP posts:
HowVeryDareYou · 20/02/2007 21:20

trustMartha

foxtrot · 20/02/2007 21:20

et voila

purpleturtle · 20/02/2007 21:21

Betty, are you sure that's not just taking longer over screwing it up small and shoving it in a cupboard?

MrsBadger · 20/02/2007 21:21

not that it's in my favourites or anything

Chloe55 · 20/02/2007 21:21

Anthea has covered this (god how embarrassing that I know that!) Anyway, the way bettyspaghetti suggested is apparantly the correct way to do it. I still can't do it though without it looking like a lump of rag.

Ceolas · 20/02/2007 21:21

Except I don't understand the first bit

OP posts:
madmarchhare · 20/02/2007 21:22

I cant believe that people worry about this

Ceolas · 20/02/2007 21:22

Btw, MrsB, have you had a scan yet? My EDD is confirmed as 24th August

OP posts:
foxtrot · 20/02/2007 21:23

LOL i have it printed out and tucked behind the ribbons on my handmade pinboard in the laundry

BettySpaghetti · 20/02/2007 21:24

That bloody Martha stole my idea, adapted it slightly and then explained it in a better way.

I honestly do this with my fitted sheets although you'd never guess if you saw the state of the rest of my laundry cupboard
