How the hell do you fold a fitted sheet?

I find if you shove it in a drawer it doesn't matter if it's folded or not.

you dont you screw it up in ball and hide it.

Good to know I'm not alone in believing this is one of life's unsolved mysteries!

I have a method but its difficult to explain -I sort of fold it into quarters so all the corners are together and then hook all the corners over my fist IYSWIM.

You can then fold in the sides to make a neater shape and then fold to fit in the cupboard.

Does that make me the new Anthea then ?

Anthea has covered this (god how embarrassing that I know that!) Anyway, the way bettyspaghetti suggested is apparantly the correct way to do it. I still can't do it though without it looking like a lump of rag.

LOL i have it printed out and tucked behind the ribbons on my handmade pinboard in the laundry

That bloody Martha stole my idea, adapted it slightly and then explained it in a better way.

I honestly do this with my fitted sheets although you'd never guess if you saw the state of the rest of my laundry cupboard
