Well it was actually a wonderful spanish lady who told me how to fold a fitted sheet just like that in 1986 when I was an au pair in Belgium so Isabelle - gracias.

that must be it foxtrot. There can be no other logical explanation

(and do you know, I tried it too. Too hard for me - all the fitted sheets are once again stuffed into the cupboard any old how)

LMAO!

I'm still reeling at the shock of having an answer to a Good Housekeeping query when there was even a doubt cast over whether or not Anthea had a solution

Lol, betty. I just shove them in and close the door quickly! When I think about it though, we actually only use about the top third.

Could do with a bit of a clear out!

Ceolas -have just PMSL at the photo of the neat cupboard! Mine is about the same size but when you open the door you have to be prepared to catch an avalanche of bedding and towels

Oh, I thought I recognised you Ceolas - EDD 21st Aug confirmed by scan but I'm too lazy to catch up with the huge screeds of Due In Aug threads I've missed .
Love to you all though.

What, you mean other people have 2 sets of bed-sheets? Mine are off, in the washer, in the dryer and back on the bed all in the same day.

That bloody Martha stole my idea, adapted it slightly and then explained it in a better way.

I honestly do this with my fitted sheets although you'd never guess if you saw the state of the rest of my laundry cupboard
